iggy frowned, thinking over max's words. this wasn't like her - usually she freaked out when one of the others went missing? and now - well, their numbers had dwindled for sure; no fang, no nudge, gazzy, angel, total.. they were all gone. had they been dragged through the portals as well - the very portals which max mentioned? keeping silent for now, the male sighed, but aloud himself to be tugged along. they were following the man, who claimed to know the way out? but was he the one who dragged us here in the first place?

"They have legs," Mirage said, "They can follow us too." The Tenno's eyes flicked to the left side of her vision, hoping for a comm screen showing up, The Lotus, maybe, or even her liset's Cephalon, but nothing came up. It wouldn't, would it? To everyone back in her time, she was dead. Well, since she couldn't count on any help from above, she'd have to deal with the help here. In this case, a human in a white coat. A scientist, presumably. Starting to run towards him, Mirage dropped from her run into a slide, blasting a falling bit of equipment out from over her head, then immediately turning and firing beneath her, using the momentum from the blast to propel her to the scientist's side. "Map data," she said, not bothering to be mysterious, "Now."

Lapis stood up from her hiding spot. There was no water around so she was powerless. She put a hand on her back and covered her gem. "I don't trust you. I don't trust any humans except for Steven," She firmly said.

Max turned down a hall and got away from that guy. She let go of Iggy's arm and sank down to the floor."We're out of the lab, now I can think. Why is it just us, the others didn't make it. I'm sure they will be fine while we're gone, Fang is with there."

Castor was startled was two of the more normal looking people ran past him, but that was a minor fright compared to the alien woman who came sliding towards him, shooting her blaster in a seemingly indiscriminate manner.
"I, uh, I don't...map data?!" he stammered, "I don't have time to talk you through how to get out. This building is huge! Just follow me, come on!"
He stopped and looked back at the blue woman who declared she didn't trust humans except for someone named Steven. He sighed in annoyance.
"Well you're going to have to trust me if you don't want to get crushed!" he called back.
They didn't have time for this.
"Exit is this way," he said to the others who seemed to be more eager to escape, and with that he started running towards the lab entrance, going over the route out in his mind. There were some stairs they had to go up since the elevator was likely broken. Then they had to go through Weapon Development to get to the exit, assuming nothing collapsed or no fired started. Otherwise they were going to have to take some serious detours.

Rey spotted the exit to the lab almost immediately after the scientist said he knew the way out. She wasn't going to wait around for a piece of ceiling to fall on her, though. Once he and the others caught up, then she would follow. As she ran out into the hall she spotted one of the other girls who had come through the portal and the boy. For some reason, the girl had decided now was a good time to sit down.
"What are you doing?! We're all going to get buried if we don't keep moving," she said, reaching down and pulling the girl to her feet.

It was just another day on the Enterprise. Sitting in the captain's chair, signing reports and orders brought by lieutenants, Captain Kirk decided it was another boring, uneventful day. While, of course, the boring days were much safer - and for that he was grateful - he did long for adventure. Their mission as of late was to categorize gaseous anomalies near the newest of the Federation colonies, and the equipment currently fitted to the ship took hours to complete its analysis.

Coffee he thought to himself, this monotony would be much more bearable with coffee.

All of the sudden, a great heat rose up around him, and he felt himself being pulled through the back of his chair. He had no time to scream or cry out before whatever it was that had hold of him sucked him through to the other side. Compared to the relative quiet of the bridge, the number of alarms blaring was deafening.

It took him a moment to come to his senses, having been slammed into the floor. He quickly realized that he was no longer on the bridge of the USS Enterprise, and that the alarm was not the typical "Red Alert" alarm that he was used to hearing. He carefully got up from the floor - after trying to put weight on his right leg he decided that it was injured and could not hold him - and looked around at the chaos. Science equipment was scattered, wind was whipping around him, and people were making for the exit. Captain instincts kicking in, he looked to help anyone who had not exited the room yet.

veering away from the others with max, he followed the winged girl. "you're right, fang won't let anything happen to the flock," iggy replied, leaning up against the wall for support. he hadn't noticed it before, but being pulled through the.. portal .. seemed to have sucked up much of his energy. the fatigue was building and while the blonde figured he could stave off passing out for some time, sooner or later he would need to lay down and nap for a day or so. regardless.. "max, we have to get out of here now," he urged. "this place is going to collapse in on us any second. do you see any windows we could break?" perhaps they could take the unconventional means of escape - crawl out the window and fly away.

Lapis finally decided to run. She kept one hand over her gem on her back to make sure no debris cracked it. She followed the girl who found the exit.

Max jerked her arm away."I was just thinking, geez! Iggy, exit at 5 o'clock!" She began running out.

So apparently Mirage had gone back to a time when people didn't keep plans to their facilities on file. A shame, that meant she had to follow him, which meant she had to go slowly. Which only increased the chance of her and the others being crushed. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the boy from before take a slight detour from the established path, being led by one of the girls. The scientist probably had things under control here, those two might need help. "Lead the rest of them out," Mirage said, "I'll take those two." Turning away from the group, the Tenno raced after the two detourists, coming across them in a corridor that seemed relatively intact. "You two know a way out?" she asked. To her, it had looked like they'd come through with her, but maybe they were more familiar with places like this.

"is it a window?" iggy asked, his voice laden with sarcasm. his instincts told him others, given the fact that they were in a corridor, and well, there couldn't possibly be windows in a corridor. regardless, he started running after max, only to be interrupted by a familiar voice. the woman[?] from before - a cyborg, according to max. "maybe," he answered, before adding on, "but i'm not sure how fond you would be crashing through a window."

Mirage didn't really have much experience with windows. Usually she tended to avoid breaking them, as most planets weren't exactly nice places to walk around on. Still, how hard could it be? This was earth, and pre-Orokin earth at that. She doubted there was anything here that could prove an environmental hazard to her. "I try to avoid breaking windows," she said, "but then again, I've never actually found one on Earth before. Not one I wanted to break, anyway. Shouldn't you two be worried?" As far as she could tell, these two were humans, and humans, she remembered, weren't the most resilient of beings. They had no shields, no armor, nothing. If they fell out a window, it would hurt.
