Ty patted Merr on the back gently. "Hey, c'mon now. We've all got some painful secret, and who's going to stop you from telling if you want to? And who's going to try and make you tell if you don't want to? No one, that's who." she murmered in a soothing voice. Ty set down her items, though they were already half way home. She opened her little box and rummaged through it, tossing out fool's gold and other worthless rocks. Finally, she pulled out a silver ring with a black opal on it. The opal was shaped like a Chinese dragon. Ty picked her stuff up and stood, she rested the ring in Merr's hand. "That ring is very valuable... and special. I stole it from a man when I was a pickpocket. I know it's a silly idea to think that jewlery with certain shapes can affect your mood, but I don't really care. The ring is to big for me, but here's what I think: I think that if you can were some thing in the form of a dragon, you can find strength to do the things others say you can't. Sort of how I feel more happy and free when I wear my locket." Ty said and smiled at him kindly.
