Ty laughed. "Thanks! My stuff is just around the corner here..." she said as she walked. She turned the corner. The sight that greeted their eyes was rather pitiful. There were three woolen blankets, all of which had holes, a dirty pillow, a barely working mini-fridge, a sweater and a little wooden box. Ty folded the blankets and piled them up beside the pillow. She opened the fridge. "Nothing. Guess that means I gave you my food money, oh well." Ty shrugged and picked up the box. It was hand carved from oak with intercate details along the edges. There was a beautifully done painting of an eagle flying at dawn on the front of the box, a quail and her babies on the back, a pair of robins in a tree on the left side, and a swan on the right. On the lid of the box was a sentance painted in an old script style. The words were faded, but it said 'Let your spirit fly with the birds...'. "This box is worth at least $100, but I can never bring myself to sell it." Ty said as she opened the box. Inside was a 18k gold locket. The locket charm on it was shaped like a wing, Ty opend it. Inside was a faded picture of her parents.
