"She must be a very dangerous one, if you keep warning me like that," Kisa remarked. The scent of Kento's hot coffee gently wafted to her nose. She inhaled the delicious fragrance in appreciation before taking a sip from her own cup, almost like a toast. Unfortunately, hers was starting to cool, and slightly cooled coffee didn't give off quite the same flavor as fresh hot coffee. "Now why would you be so concerned about me taking on Takatsuki Sen? You have only met me today."

"Well, I guess it's in my nature to be concerned about the safety of others," Kento replied. Deep down he knew there was something much more. The girl he was now conversing with reminded him much of his late sister, and he knew that he would never want history to repeat itself. "I also believe that you're life is very precious. I mean, everyone's is. But something you have that many of them don't is the ability to appreciate the beauty of something much more than just words printed onto paper. I appreciate that. Although that doesn't mean that your life is exceedingly prioritized, I feel that it is in my nature to preserve these endangered fanatics." Only after the words had slipped out of his mouth did Kento realize what he was saying. He cleared his throat, feeling slightly embarrassed for throwing a length of senseless words at her.

Kisa smirked. "I don't think you know me very well, to make such assumptions." But she took most of the boy's words into consideration anyways. "My life? Precious? I hardly think so." she said evenly. "I'm a monster. A murderer. A ghoul. I'm hunted by the CCG for killing. Ghouls and humans, alike. By my hand alone, countless investigators and innocent humans are dead. Most of them are killed not just because I was hungry, but that because I was merely bored, and because I was annoyed at them. I have moved from Ward to Ward because the ghouls themselves deem me too violent and too unruly to stay. Nothing follows me but death, destruction and heartbreak. Yet you call my life precious." She paused to finish the rest of her coffee. "I don't mean any offense, but I think you're quite impressionable, but very sweet all the same." She gave him a small smile.

Kento was on fire with embarrassment. Did she just call me impressionable? And sweet? He coughed in attempt to recover from the sudden dilemma. He took a sip of his coffee before he began to speak again. "But in all honesty, I don't care if you've murdered millions. Your life still contains an inalterable meaning and value," he remarked with a firm tone, "And if you're hunted by the CCG for killing, I'm hunted for breathing. My life is a living hell. I am everlasting destruction." He smiled. "Yet here I am - still able to make such naive remarks."
