There is an eminent academy whose purpose is to train the rising hunters and huntresses for each generation. It rest within the kingdom known as Vale which is on the minuscule planet called Remnant. Although it is one of four main academies, it is certainly the most sought out and sundry of them. It's name, well reader, you should already know. If you don't, however, is Beacon Academy.
Our story many seem simple, but it is far from being so. Within another reality, one where the original characters cease to exist, our own creations live, feel, and fight in against the creatures of Grimm. A new darkness has been cast over our story and will most certainly provide an intriguing and maybe even exquisite adventure for our characters.

R U L E S
ONE
All site rules apply to this RP. If you do not know them, I highly suggest reading them ASAP. Since aura protects the body from damage (like broken bones, cuts, and lethal attacks), fights will not get bloody/gory. The only things that will get harmed are Grimm and from what we have seen so far, they do not bleed and fade into nothingness after being beaten. If a character runs out of aura, they must cease fighting. Please do not describe fights too much.
TWO
You must have at least watched the first two volumes of RWBY in order to take part of this RP. Due to the lack of knowledge, the Four Maidens will NOT be apart of this. This may change as Volume 3 dawns towards the end and gives us more information about them, but for now they aren't apart of this plot. The legend/story of them can be mentioned. (For example, your OC's favorite story is the legend about the Four Maidens.)
THREE
Canon characters do NOT exist in this AU roleplay. This means that your OC cannot be related to the canon characters in any matter nor can you play as or even mention them in your posts. This also means that your OC cannot posses the same weapons (EX: Ruby's Cresent Rose) or be rip offs of the canon characters.
FOUR
You CAN have multiple characters, but you are limited to having TWO in the SAME team. In other words, you can have as many as you can handle, but you cannot make your own team full of just your OCs. The only time I may allow this is when we get the the Vytal Festival where we need temportary NPC teams to fight against. You CANNOT make any villains due to the fact that they have to be somewhat OP in order to give a good plot. After all, having a villain who gets caught/killed quickly doesn't provide a juicy story, right? Villains will be played by me since I do not want another user to have the chance to abuse their powers as a villain. I hope you understand. I will, however, allow student OCs who are grunts (low ranked members) of the White Fang.
FIVE
Speaking of the White Fang and faunus, I will allow you to have multiple faunus OCs. However it they begin to start to out number human OCs by a landslide, I will cut the ropes and place a temporary hold on the creation of faunus OCs until more humans are made in order to even out things. Keep in mind that avian faunus CANNOT posses wings that grant them flight naturally. They can have wings, but they cannot grant them flight unless they have a semblance that allows them flight. Same thing with aquatic faunus. Gills cannot function unless there is a semblance that allows them to work.
SIX
There are certain semblances that are banned for the sake of preventing OP characters. These banned semblances are as followed but not limited to: mind controlling over humans, faunus, and/or grimm, grimm creation, grimm manipulation, move copying, automatic dodging, semblance stealing, semblance copying, aura healing, aura stealing, infinite aura, extreme teleportation, hammer space, extreme manipulation of objects, and time travel (both forward and backwards in time), and so on. If you believe your semblance is too much, PM me about it first and we'll discuss about it.
SEVEN
Another important topic is the quality and quantity of posts. For this roleplay, one will need to possess a decent grip on grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Post need to be at least ONE (1) paragraph long (5 -10 complete sentences). If you have multiple characters, I highly suggest putting some sort of signature above a post that list the OC you are using for that post. (EX: RUBY | HUMAN | FIRST YEAR STUDENT | TEAM RWBY)
