@vigilante well, hm. i think if you believe he's super op, you can go ahead and nerf him a bit. for example, for yuri, i decided a while back to make him(well, her for this rp) unable to use too many artes at once else he exhausts himself too much, but he can still fight regularly with his sword regardless. you could just have sorey deal with the same thing, maybe?

Abilities: Dosashi, while slightly skilled in close-combat, gets his reputation largely from his companion, a Rathalos xxx. Similar to other pets, the Rathalos, named Ko, follows Dosashi's every command. Ko is a very large part of Dosashi's offensive and defensive capabilities; without him, Dosashi stands little chance against enemies. Although small for his species, Ko is approxamitely 37 feet long, and equipped with the ability to shoot fireballs from his mouth, poison claws on his feet, and a spiked tail. He is often in the air, flying around the battlefield to destroy Dosashi's opponents. However, Ko has a fatal flaw; if a loud noise is sounded off near him, or a bright flash of light goes off near him, he will be incapacitated for a moment, open to attack, although he gets more resistant to this after continuous attempts. While Ko is Dosashi's main form of attack, if Ko is unable to fight, Dosashi is equipped with a sword and a shield, but possesses no magical abilities.
Sexuality: Bisexual
Personality: Dosashi is very loyal to the Dark Wolf, often attempting to pull off great feats for his affection. When not around the Dark Wolf, he's very calm and rational, not wanting to rush into a situation without a plan. Socially, he doesn't communicate much, although no one approaches him because of Ko being in his vicinity for often than not. He's quite intelligent, and able to gauge his opponent's abilities and form a plan very quickly. Ko is very territorial, and, although he doesn't get aggressive, he is quite annoyed when others talk to Dosashi. Ko is also quite scared of the Dark Wolf, a contrast to Dosashi's admirement. They get along best with each other, and rarely separate willingly; they've been together for a large portion of their lives. Born in a small village named Harth, an underground village which is known for its large metal and mineral exports, he has no recollection of his parent who abandoned him very early on, and he had to scavenge in the shadows for himself. At the same time, the young and small Ko was going to be sold off to do brute labor in greatly unfavorable conditions, but Dosashi, upon meeting him while raiding the basement Ko was locked in, decided to free him, and, rather than fly away, Ko stayed with him, and their relationship evolved from there. Upon traveling the world, they joined the Dark Wolf, wanting to get back at the kind of people who would abuse monsters like Ko, and they now help the Dark Wolf with any of his commands.

so, you're probably wondering where you will start when you do: characters on the elemental's (good) side are going to appear on the gateway on the sun island, while the evil characters will start on the gateway on Trachae. neutral characters get to choose!
for good characters, they'll "spawn" in a small cypress forest on the sun island;
for bad characters, they'll "spawn" on a raised area in one of the smaller swamps of Trachae;
neutral characters, again, may start in either of these two areas. ^^ }}

The air was heavy with the scent of grass as the eyes of a young woman began to flutter open, a small groan of misery leaving her lips; god, had she been knocked out while on a mission or somethin--?
Her eyes shot open wider as she processed the sound of her own voice--was it...higher than normal? Yuri Lowell hardly sounded so soft-toned; his voice was deep, certainly so, and could go octaves lower on command. Yet--the voice the young woman was hearing was far from anything like 'deep'. "Nh!?" Sitting up sharply, she glanced down--and her face went pale as she realized she had a chest[though, her mind wasn't exactly calling it a 'chest'], and slender, more delicate legs than before. Upon looking at her hands, she saw softer, less calloused palms and long, neatly trimmed fingernails, the blastia on her wrist much looser than it had already been before. This is not happening. This has to be a dream. Yeah, I'm dreaming. Her thoughts weren't exactly helping as she reached for - thank god, she still had it - her katana and removed it from its sheath with trembling fingers, eyes falling upon the blade--and they widened when she saw her reflection, a sharp shout leaving her lips in horror. "What the hell happened to me!?" She jumped to her feet and helplessly looked around, taking this moment to finally realize that she was no longer in an area that seemed familiar; the landscape somewhat reminded her of Keiv Moc, but--it certainly wasn't as swampy, and she couldn't see any of the massive bug-like monsters that lurked within. Her shoulders slumped and she stared back down at her dropped weapon, a helpless noise leaving her throat; what was she going to do now?

This place was certainly unfamiliar, but Zagi certainly didn't care. He hummed lowly in his throat as he let one of his blades dance in neat circles in his hand, the soft whistle of it slicing through the air simply music to his ears. If he'd been taken somewhere, he'd known it would have been for a reason. He was getting antsy, though; where was his taker, then? What was his mission? Rather-- Who do I get to kill? A twisted grin spread over his lips and he raised his red eyes, looking around the murky area of nothing but filthy swamp; perfect places to hide bodies, certainly. Though, would he want to hide the bodies? No, no, he would much rather parade them around, show the friends of the victims just what he'd done--and so easily, too. It was always so easy to kill, to murder, which he enjoyed heartily. Impatience fueled him now, and he continued to pace back and forth; he couldn't wait much longer. No, he had to know now.

A groan came out of the long haired swordsman mouth as he opened his grey eyes slowly to be introduced to a blurry view. /he had to blink a few times before the view finally grew crystal clear to him. "Where-?" he started, lifting himself from the ground to check his surroundings. Damn it, where was he? And how did he get here? Yuri's mind was a tad bit... Blurry. He couldn't remember much on what happened. He couldn't even remember what he was doing this morning before he came here- or was it the afternoon? What time was it anyways? Finally able to lift off the ground onto his feet his first instinct was to find the exit, or find someone who can tell him where he was. But he soon narrowed his eyes once he stood up. He was pretty sure in a distance he saw... Him. Yet they were female? A sigh of annoyance escaped his mouth. A cosplayer. Just what he needed. This wasn't the first time he found a cosplayer, he finds it rather annoying to be walking around Terca Lumiries then finding someone cosplaying him. Especially when it was a female. That annoyed him the most. Walking up from behind this "cosplayer" he pulled there hair attempting to get off the ridicules costume. "Damn it, how many more times do I have to tell you people. I don't like cosplayers." he groaned

The shepherds bright green eyes slowly opened as he woke from being faceplant into the ground. His eyes soon widen when he got up on his knees to look around the surrounding area. Where was he? He was pretty sure he was in a ruin with all his friends before he came here... Wait are his friends- "Mikleo? Liliah? Edna? Dezel?" he called out. Hoping a response inside his head. No reply. Sorey bit his lip and the silent reply. Perhaps they were trying to scare him? Lifting up his hand he called out "Fethmus Mioma!" only to be introduced with nothing happened. A panic raced inside his thoughts. Where did all his serephim friends go? And Rose what happened to her? What happened to everyone he was with? Standing up he reached back to grab the Celestial Record. He began to flip the pages like crazy and he mumbled, "This place isn't even in the Celestial Record... Where am I?" He closed his book and stares around the surrounding area. Was he even in Glenwood? He sure didn't recognize this place. Well, from reading the Celestial Record so many times. Of course, the book was old and outdated so maybe he could ask someone where he was? Though it did confuse him that all his serephim were gone. He panicked over the thought if a hellion were to show up he wouldn't be able to purify it. I mean, sure he can still defend himself since he has his sword. And that's good. But can he still purify stuff? Liliah wasn't with him. Yet he was curious about the area. What if there were ancient ruins? Just the thought of going through the ancient ruins boiled some excitement into his stomach.

The blond was laying on his back in one of the cypress trees above the two swordsmen, unconscious and supported only by two branches that formed a V that held him up. However, by now, he'd been unconscious for a while and was beginning to wake up; he made no sounds, but shifted slightly, the branches below him creaking softly as he moved, sky-blue eyes slowly opening to take in the blurry scene before him––leaves, branches and...more trees. At least, that's what he saw straight ahead, blinking to clear his vision of the groggy blurriness, looking down. When he looked down, his brows furrowed and for a moment he thought he was seeing double, but he certainly wasn't; in identical clothing, with identical hair, weaponry, and just about everything else, two versions of Yuri stood right beneath him. Well, one version of Yuri was different, at least. He seemed thinner than normal, with even more close together shoulders and a large chest and -- wait.
She was a different version indeed.

Stray was...asleep. Not unconscious, it didn't seem, but comfortably asleep, his ears folded back in an upwards fashion and his tail curled around him, hiding his nose from sight as it snuggled into the snaggy tan fur of his tail. However, this sleep was disturbed quite quickly; someone was shouting names, though at least they quieted after a moment, but it was too late and the small fox had already raised his head, looking about for the source of the loud voice before he saw the young shepherd, fur fluffing out a bit and swiftly scrambling back into cover with a piece of undergrowth, tail wrapped around his left hind leg in a startled fashion, ears forward and pricked to hear where the human was and what it was doing, shivering briefly and nervously.

The small creature was rested nearby on the branch of a young, small tree, ears pricked and able to hear footsteps, soft humming and the sound of a blade running rhythmically through the air. The sounds continued to get louder and then softer, and louder again in repetition, as if the person was pacing, and as it was the small creature knew they were. Schwarz jumped off from the branch, but didn't hit the ground; small, fiery wings, almost similar to a butterfly's, appeared at his back, lifting him in the air, flitting over and keeping his ears pricked. “Impatient for something?” the faerie suddenly asked, voice surprisingly loud for his incredibly small size.

The blue-haired Adept took a look around him and tilted his head slightly, taking in the view. The area was unfamiliar, as he couldn't recall having visited a swampy place. The air felt sticky, something unfamiliar to one who grew up in the frozen north. His mind wandered; why was he here? and was anyone else here? He figured that anyone he'd run into also wouldn't know what was going on, but it would be good to know he wasn't alone. The thought struck him that anyone who could've brought him here without him knowing was more powerful than he was, and that bothered him.
