Clint looked at the kid for a moment and raised an eyebrow at the amused looked. "Actually, quite like people in comic books... Superheroes if you will. Though a lot of them aren't heroes. A lot of them are just your average person who's just hiding what they can do," Clint replied with a slight shrug.


Kratos looked at the bag with his ears perked up, he was quite interested in what the bag contained. His attention was caught onto the emerald necklace when it was held up to the light. Glints of light bounced off the object which only drew his attention to it more. "Give them away?" he said, slightly surprised, "What's the point in stealing them if you are going to just give them away?" Surely there was a reason to why Griffin would think about giving them away instead of selling them.

With a headache still splitting her skull and her ears still ringing, Skyler didn't sense the attack coming until it was too late. A sturdy blow to the side of her head and the grey wolf lay unconscious on the dirty pavement of the alleyway. In the blink of an eye, there was no longer a wolf lying there, but a teenage girl. For some odd reason, when knocked unconscious, Skyler's body reverted back to its natural state of being, which was her human form.

Either the person who had whacked Skyler wasn't very strong, or they hadn't really meant to hit her very hard, because it was only a couple short minutes later when she regained consciousness. Blinking her eyes to clear her vision and silently cursing her headache, she sat up. Noticing the two women were still here, she eyed them suspiciously, climbing to her feet. It wouldn't do to appear weak, and lying on the ground was definitely a sign of weakness. "For somebody who didn't mean to do that, she hit pretty hard," Skyler stated dryly. "As for what I'm doing here, that is really none of your business. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get going." Skyler made to step around the pair. Time was ticking. The sirens had faded into the distance, but Skyler still had to find her contact.
