School's out and summer is starting. The smell of anticipation and excitement tickles your blood, wanting a piece of all-time summer action! Long days, dripping ice creams, salty sprays of beach waves; that is what summer's about! A small plane full of young people will take on a journey of a lifetime; a journey of survival. What will spring up from the new growth? Will rivalries be created or romance blossom? On the island, no-one knows. Unfortunately for some, they will be stranded.

Moony's Characters

Full Name: Gabriel Antoine Quint
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Birth Date: 1991/02/29
(though he usually celebrates his birthday on the 28th)
Occupation: Medical Student
Crush: Open
Personality: Gabriel is very quiet and easygoing. It is unlikely that you'll ever see him actually angry. He always seems to be quite cheerful but not in a 'loud' way. He isn't particularly outgoing, preferring to be unnoticed all the time than the centre of attention. He is very trusting of other people, perhaps too trusting in some cases, and will obey someone unconditionally. Although he can be serious when he needs to be, he doesn't see the point in being so all the time. Although Gabriel is generally friendly, he doesn't really understand people that well and finds it hard to make close friends. He finds dogs a lot easier. Gabriel likes order and patterns and can spend hours arranging a group of stones in what he says is the 'right way'. He has quite a logical mind and loves solving puzzles. Plus, he's very intelligent, technically a genius. He has an IQ of 160 and an eidetic memory, which he believes makes up for his almost complete lack of people skills. Being originally from France, Gabriel still has a thick accent and can sometimes slip into French accidentally. He does smoke, however, a lot , which he finds amusing since he won't touch alchohol. And, being almost a doctor, he knows exactly what smoking does to him.

History: Gabriel was born in France to a relatively rich family. However, his mother suffered from extreme depression and hanged herself when Gabriel was 10. Gabriel's father, though still loving, was quite an unemotional man and never really showed any love to his only son. His father also worked a lot of the time and, all in all, Gabriel probably had a better relationship with the maid. He didn't even notice when Gabriel took up smoking, or he didn't care; Gabriel could never work out which. He and his father moved to California when Gabriel was 14, due to his job. Gabriel's intelligence was recognised from a very early age and he graduated from school two years early, immediately going to medical school instead. He's now just into his third year of medical school, living off his father's wealth while he's studying. He spent most of his childhood being homeschooled, which probably didn't help with his introversion, and he only just manages with the other medical students.

Occupation: Full-time University Student- Oxford

Personality: On the outside, Alexa can seem shy and timid but once to get to know her, that thought is long forgotten. Fun and bubbly, she is always the one which you can have a good laugh with. Being sympathetic and caring is a good trait of hers and she trusts others very easily. Her mischievous and happy character is a complete opposite to her troubled history. Alexa is rarely seen unhappy and likes having a happy effect on those around her. In her free time, she prefers being alone with a good book or a pencil and a sketchpad. Her hobbies include horse-riding, ice-skating and a vigorous ballet schedule. Everywhere she goes, she seems to give off a certain spark. She is very protective of the people she is closest to; sometimes being described as ‘over-emotional’. She is very loyal and can be sometimes distant, especially when thinking deeply. Alexa's attention span can vary from lasting hours to a quick glance, which some people may find annoying. Normally, Alexa is always the one to start conversations but never the one to end them, which reflects her happy aura.

History: Alexa has a pretty dark history. Her parents run major market companies and are always busy; they had no free time for Alexa. She was isolated from peers and forced to study hard with numerous amounts of private tutors. Her parents were rarely seen with her and as she grew up, she began to wonder if they were alive or dead. She was moved to another residence when she was 12 with elderly servants that waited day and night for her. Since she was privately tutored, she took her GCSEs and AS levels earlier than everyone else, advancing to university this year. She doesn't have many friends and the only peer she knows is James Rotherington. Alexa hopes to find an new life in university and new friends. Alexa has suffered from minor depression once when she was 15 before she saw a psychiatrist. Although she has locked up her secrets in a small box forever, you never know when it'll break. Even though she portrays a very happy attitude, inside she feels emotionally unstable with the people around her. Alexa had taken this trip as a form of escape; to escape the façade surrounding her.

Desires: A normal life full of friends and good times.

Fears: Alexa hates being alone in a dark room and also has a case of claustrophobia. Also, she can't stand a silent room and spooky clowns.
