Rascal was fine for the rest of the time, casting only a few fearful looks down at the water. Sky stepped back when he seemed clean. "Okay, you're good," she said with a smile. Only by nature, of course Rascal shook his body and flung water all over Sky and Aaron. Sky only laughed before flying into the air and doing a graceful dive into the deeper part of the river.

Aaron laughed and recoiled slightly when Rascal shook himself. He grinned at him before crawling deeper into the river. He sighed and cleaned his feathers for a brief moment before swimming around.

Yoruhana swam towards Aaron "can you help me?"

"With what?" Aaron asked when Yoruhana came up. He stood upright and looked over to her.

"getting the feathers closest to my body" Yoruhana smiles, trying to reach them.

Aaron rubbed his neck for a moment before answering. "Yeah, sure," he said softly and dipped his hands into the river. He reached over and cleaned off the feathers closest to her back.

Sky backfloated, using her wings to keep her afloat. She closed her eyes slowly, imaging what her parents looked like. She loved to do this when she had time to herself, but would never admit it out loud. Soon, she dove under and swam up the river, always keeping Aaron and Yoruhana in sight. "I'll be right back," she called to them as she caught sight of a waterfall.

Yoruhana smiled and hugged Aaron "thanks", she closed her eyes.

"Alright," Aaron called back to Sky. He was a bit surprised from the hug, but lightly put his arms around her in a hug. "Welcome."
