I looked away, pushing my hair behind my ears, exposing my third eye. It usually remained hidden in my tarry mess of hair. I always thought my hair looked more like tar than hair. I sighed. "It's not important..." I whimpered. I played with the sleeves of my sweater. The wear and stretching of the knit on the sleeves was obvious, same with the bottom of the sweater, which reached my thighs. I liked the fact it was too big for me, and I liked the big, loose turtleneck that I could bury my face in. I didn't want to lie to Toriel; I've barely even talked to her and I could already tell how sweet she was.

Gaster heard the feline monster approaching and wasn't startled by her. He jumped a little, not scared of the sudden appearance, but of someone actually remembering him. He thought of singing with his hands but wasn't sure if she would understand... He did it anyways. "Oh.. Hello," he signed. "Can you read sign language?" he signed again.
