Taro cursed when the blow was avoided. The tip of his knife hit the bricks instead of Rough Neck. "Just get out of here," he hissed at the boy. "Three against one. The odds aren't in your favor." He glanced over to Fern, watching her intently. "Hey, I'll protect you, don't worry. Just stay back here with us. And you'll be fine."

Alex smiled and shook her head. She knew the police couldn't catch either of them.

Raven walked around slowly and carefully, her thin lithle body giving off nothing of her intentions. As she passes by the fruit stand she quickly plucks an apple and then tucks it in her shirt. Raven smiles and then walks off, munching on the apple, to where she was suppost to meet Roughneck.
