~Plot~
Forty-five years ago a young, twenty-five year old scientist that went by the name of James Strayer made a time machine that went into the past. To prove this, he sent an omnivore (a creature that eats both meat and greens), a monkey to be exact, into space. But the experiment went terribly wrong. He lost the pod and his fellow scientists cast him out as a failure. Thirty years later, however, the lost pod crashed into a wheat field in Texas. The monkey, who had not aged a day but was foaming green at the mouth, escaped it's prison and began it's campaign of biting everyone it laid eyes on. All of these people became very sick and all of them died within a year...but not before they could pass on their mutated DNA to the next generation. How did they do this? Use your imagination.
Now today, fifteen years later, that DNA mutation is awakening in this new generation. Half of the kids who had the DNA passed on to them can now shape-shift into carnivores (creatures who eat meat) and the other half can shape-shift into herbivores (creatures who eat greens). For the kids who thought they were normal teens trying to get through high school, life has suddenly become very difficult. On top of raging hormones, acne problems, and the stress of keeping their grades up, they are now being hunted down by the power hungry government that seeks to control them, an angry scientist who wants to prove himself and get back at the scientists who cast him out, and another threat that has yet to identify itself. You, my fellow RPer, are one of these lucky kids.

~All characters pretty much have to start at age 15 because that is when the DNA mutation awakens
~Can't shift into omnivores
~When shifted into an animal, your character will have a natural base color. So say my characters base color is white. That means that every animal she turns into will have a base white pelt. Examples are a white wolf or a white tiger with black stripes. So the animal will still have normal characteristics like stripes and such. NO YOUR BASE COLOR CAN NOT BE PURPLE OR SOME OTHER RIDICULOUS COLOR. So no green tigers with red stripes or some other such nonsense.
~When shifted, they can communicate with other shifted shifters by sending mental images and emotions
~You may choose to be either a carnivore shifter or an herbivore shifter. Keep in mind that I would like to keep the ratio fairly even.
