"I am a stubborn, emotionless person. Unless it comes to my brother. I smile more often, laugh, and he makes me want to keep on fighting for my life if needed."

"Before I had Shin, I was a depressed kid. My mother said the first time I saw Shin, my whole future changed. She said that I could never be happier and didn't do anything without him.
When Shin was only 10, our house was attacked and the attackers killed my parents. They kidnapped Shin and left me with many injuries. Because of that day, I still have to wear bandages over my face and chest. You can only see my left eye, nose and mouth. The reason I still wear them is because of the scars and I lost my eye. After a year or so of intense training and plotting revenge on the attackers, I attacked them.
It took a few hours, but I got Shin back. Most of them were dead and Shin was almost dead in my arms. So I did what any brother would do. I took him to the most skilled healer I knew and she fixed up Shin. In return, I was forced to join Fairy Tail with him and we have been here ever since."
