Kaneki Ken has changed over time, that much is evident. Formerly a cheerful, yet meek and weak-willed young man, he has developed into a slightly more...unhinged person, after snapping during psychological and physical torture. Now quiet, cold, and emotionally distant, Kaneki is a very mysterious boy with a heart that has been frozen over with a thin, yet durable layer of frost, leaving him seemingly unapproachable in the eyes of others. He is not directly aggressive, but any negative actions taken towards either him or anyone close to him will generally not end well for the perpetrator, that much is for certain. He generally gives off an aura that basically says that you should not antagonize him, but for some reason, idiots still feel the need to do so, despite the fact that his cool, emotionless gray eyes can immediately turn cold and ruthless in only the snap of a broken finger - his own broken finger, with that. Kaneki has come to the point where he can hardly feel pain when he doesn't want to, and a stress relief of his is to break or dislocate one of his own fingers, only for it to heal in a fraction of a second. Within his mind, loneliness battles with stress and confusion, as Kaneki struggles to find his place in life.

erika overall has an average apperance with round eyes and a small nose. her hair is black in colour and falls just below her chin. years of school sports, primarily volleyball has given her a lean frame with strong legs although she lacks in upper body strengh. personality wise, erika gets flustered quite easily and isn't the smartest of the bunch, having to cram in late night study sessions to pass tests. she has a strong resolve and usually doesn't back out of things, you know, unless it's about her non-existant love life. she's always quite eager to meet new people and has respect for her seniors. erika is not very confident off of the court and this often leaves her second guessing things in everyday life.

growing up, it was always just her, her mother and her older sister, emiko and her father walked out when she was five and the memories she has of him are faded and far between. a few months ago, her sister was killed by a ghoul near the seinan gakuin campus and erika is still quite shaken but pretends not to be at school, waving it off as nothing. of course, this act has caused a few rumours of her being cold and uncaring, both of which she could never be.

The night was young, the young black haired woman was on her way home. She used to attempt to blend in with the crowd, but her height made that a difficult task. Not that everyone was looking at her, more of there's no point in trying to remain undetected. Tonight she was dressed in a warm, simple crochet dress and boots. She adjusted her glasses and kept her gaze focused on her destination, which was all she could do to show others that she didn't want to talk. She kept her purse close to her side, it was filled beyond what's recommended, as she attempted to conceal the cat food at the bottom for the cat she wasn't supposed to have. She smelt the blood wafting over from a far off alley. If her sense of smell was this sensitive, it was a high sign she'd have to feed soon, but she didn't have her mask or masculine clothing to distort her identity. She'd have to stop for a coffee and hope it's enough to hold her off until tomorrow. She changed her path and made way to a coffee shop she knew had a few ghoul workers

corrosive edge to her spirit, and her words began to escape him in snarls and
distasteful accusations. By now aloisa has learned to control her temper a
little better, but it'll always be there. It's incredibly easy for her to snap, despite
the constant look in her eyes that makes him seem so.. calm and collected. she
finds humor an escape, and tends to shelter herself in a globe of comedy when
her mood is lifted. aloisa can be a kind soul, though seldom is the occasion.
It's always so hard for her to reach out and trust or make the first move. she
always wants to say what's on her mind and be bitter when really, she has her
chances at being nice in the end. she can be extraordinarily difficult to deal
with at times, set in her hard-headed ways and trapped in a rut with beliefs.
But with the right talks, she will listen. aloisa pities the idea of sharing, and
laughs at the thought of mercy since it was never something she had witnessed
with her own eyes.
