Jubilee simply nodded at the girls response, though maybe she was hiding her real thoughts too. It wasn't just her that chose to hide things behind shadows, she wasn't sure if that made her feel better though. She wasn't even sure about what she felt, she had to keep a fake personality by her side at all times and edges between that and her true self often blurred.
She was going to decline the offer to go with Valentine, she swore that she was. The girl from district 8 opened up her mouth and started to respond "Thank you for the offer but I'll have to-" She was cut off by the sound of a gun firing off.
Alright, no. That was it, someone else was already dead. She was not going to let this little mouse scamper off and then Jubilee would hear another gunshot and wonder if the cats had caught her. She wasn't going to let that happen, after all, she had a knife and Valentine didn't.
"I'm not sure. But that settles it, I'm coming with you. I've got a weapon so I can help protect you in case there is still someone guarding the supplies, or going there too." She wasn't sure what her voice was doing now. It wasn't harsh like before, nor was it scarily happy. She seemed protective, a determined expression forming on her face. It wasn't something she'd thought of before, but this emotion was the perfect merging of the two personalities.
This weakling will not die yet.
