"Well, we met when I first joined the team." Terrence answered easily, settling down as he started to remember exactly how everything happened. "He didn't talk much back then, still doesn't to this day."

I look up at Florida and beam. Thank you, sweet sister...for this blackmail. "Yes, honey...exactly like that." I bend back down to her and pick her up cautiously and gently. "Nothing will ever make me leave you guys. Trust me. And I will go to the ends of the earth to fight for you all."

"Even if you get married?" Eta asked, enjoying being picked up by her brother more than by Florida or anyone else. "Because that seems like a pretty good reason to leave us.."

"Well, it started because I was too childish to admit that I'd burst into his room for a few weeks and eventually I just placed myself right next to him and demand he at least try to date me." Terrence explained it without all the unneeded detail.

I smile, but it soon fades when she talks about marriage. Marriage...after a quick glance to Meta, I look back to my sister, quickly regaining my kind composure. "I promise." I kiss at her cheek. "People don't just forget their families when they move away or have families of their own, Eta." I watch as Florida silently walks out of the room. "Loving more than one person, Eta, takes courage. And you're being really, really brave right now." I nuzzle my nose with hers. "Besides, if I were to leave..." I spin her around the room before setting her on my bed. "Who would be there to be your best friend, hm?"

Felix snorted "Whatever." he muttered, refusing to accept help from Tucker right now.

Terrence chuckled "You think that's funny?" he asked in mild amusement "Well I have all kinds of stories." he reminded with a warm smile.

I scoff and cross my arms. "You mean to tell me, Eta, that for the past 6 years I haven't been your friend?" I mutter, turning my head away from her. "I thought I was your best friend, Eta..." I pout, adopting a puppy dog voice. "You're my best friend..."

Eta laughed, her nose scrunching slightly and her eyes squinting in her joyous amusement. Once she settled down she started making grabby hands for Sigma again. "You are, I just said I had other friends too!" she replied between soft giggles.

Terrence nodded, smiling and beginning to tell Xi the stories and sharing the memories he knew would be appropriate, starting with his experiences with Butch.
