Could you? I always start with my friends, and I'm still a little shaky with starting out with Will.

Ok I'll try.

Nico stood off to the side. He still didn't like the sing a longs, but he was trying to get out of his cabin more. He was watching the flames go up higher and higher, so very distracted.


(How's that?)

(That's great!)

Will led the sing-a-long, strumming his guitar in a familiar tune. His voice carried from the person sitting next to him to the entire group, silently urging them to join too. He glanced around, locking eyes with Nico. For a moment, he considered stopping the sing a long to invite him over, but disregarded this. Instead, he gestured towards him, offering him the spot to his right.

Nico considered going to sit with Will. He thought about just going back to his cabin, but then found himself walking towards Will. He sat next to him.

A tiny smile found its way to Will's mouth. It blossomed into a full out grin, him ending the song on a loud note. "That's it, everybody! Apollo, wait here for a moment, okay? Everybody else, follow your respective counselors!" He turned to Nico. "Long time no see."

Nico wasn't sure how to respond. "Hi Will." Then he realized how stupid this sounded. But he couldn't take it back now. "How've you been?"

Will laughed, brushing his hair back with his hand. "Good, good. It's been kind of tough trying to heal everybody and keep everybody in high spirits, you know? You?"

[anxious ghost]

"I've been redesigning the Hades cabin. It looks awful in there. And I visited Camp Jupiter, just to check on them. They're still rebuilding." Nico stopped talking, suddenly noticing how he was rambling.

He laughed at the way Nico was rambling, signaling for him to go on. "No, no. Keep going. How are the kids at Camp Jupiter? Are they doing alright?"
