Cooper awoke somewhere dark, the place smelled like mold and antiseptic. She sat up on the creaky bed and noticed several empty beds around her as her eyes adjusted to the darkness. She heard a faint breathing behind her and quickly turned around, but nothing was there. "What is this place...?" she mumbled to herself as she stood and tried to find an exit.

Lauretta's ears instantly went flat against her head and her tail drooped. She hissed, but acted like she didn't notice Nightmare. The fox pelts were hanging by her arms now, but she didn't bother to do anything about it.

Ruby's eyes widened. "You can teleport? And pull cats from your hair? That's so cool!" She paused. "Why are you avoiding your mom and brother?"

Ing stopped running for a moment and panted, paws on his knees as he watched his brother run off into the distance. He sighed and collapsed into the snow. The cold didn't feel too bad after that run, which he knew he would have to continue. Eventually. For now, he let himself sink slightly into the snow and curled his tail around one of his legs. This was nice.

Ang dived into the snow, skidding a bit before popping his head up. Standing up and brushing some snow off his fur, he cheered, "I won!". Not that it was surprising. Looking back at the way he had come, a thought of worry crossed his mind. Ing wasn't there. Ang knew that his brother wasn't as fast as him, but he expected to see him at least a few yards behind. Nothing. Maybe he had stopped for a break. Yeah, that's it. Well, he was already there.. might as well enjoy the caves while he waited for Ing. He stepped inside and walked around. While it wasn't the most interesting place in the underground, it was something. It also made echoes, as Ang was happy to discover. He took a deep breath and howled. It rang out throughout the cave bouncing against the walls. Ang laughed.

Nightmare laughed as he was now on the bench. "Scared?" He asked, his red eyes glowing brightly in mischief. His tail wagged a bit as that smile was stuck on his muzzle, sitting down in a strange position from being a skeleton.

CharCoal looked back and Tsunami and smirked. Tsunami stood up and yipped, running toward the caves. CharCoal sighed as she chased him. She nearly skid to a stop when he tripped on something. More like someone (Ing). Tsunami flipped over and instantly stood up, CharCoal holding back a laugh at his movements.

[Kan.]

"Yeah! Well, actually, my cat lives in my hair.. And," She paused, "I'm only half human. My father wasn't so rude, but he's dead, so it doesn't matter. My mom is a demon, and she wants me to be evil- or whatever- like her. Then there's my brother, who hates everything.. I just don't want to hurt anyone!" She let the cat climb onto her thick ponytail before it disappeared into it. She noticed a fox run by, sighed. "Are you okay?" She called, but didn't think he could hear her.

"No!" Snapped Lauretta, her ruby eyes meeting his as she hissed. "I'm just annoyed that my daughter is here. She's a traitor."

[Parasitic Rat]

Nightmare chuckled. "How so?" He asked, curious as he kept eye contact with the demon in front of him. This was normal. He always kept eye contact with CharCoal, except she was more angry and she had four red eyes when she looked at him. Two of them hidden under her hair, which he doesn't know why.

Cooper stood from the bed, fumbling around for a light switch or a lamp. She heard heavy breathing once again and looked around warily. "Who's there?" She called, her right eye socket glowing faintly.

"You don't seem like the kind of person who would hurt someone. You've got the right idea, I wouldn't listen to them either." Of course, Ruby was used to going against what people said.

Ing yelped and shot up in surprise to see Charcoal and Tsunami. His face grew red. "Sorry I made you trip.. I don't know why I thought laying in the ground was a good idea." It was a good idea because it felt nice. Yeah, like that was a good excuse.

Ang wandered through the cave, shouting random things and laughing as they repeated themselves through the cave. His fur has begun to rise though, in worry for his brother who had not arrived yet, but tried his best to brush it off. Ing would be their soon, hopefully.

[Parasitic Rat]

CharCoal shoved her hands in her pockets. "It's fine. Where's you're brother? I bet he's worried." She said, walking forward while Tsunami ran for the caves.

Venoix pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around them with a yawn.
