♣name♣: ilene, or so she thinks... || ♣age♣: not sure, but she could be in her late teens || ♣gender♣: female. definitely || ♣race♣: certainly smells like a human (she is a human)
♣physical description♣ : short, shoulder length hair the colour of light, metallic blue. She has almond shaped eyes that are very pale blue in colour. Her height is relatively average and she's slim with a lean physique. Across her arms she has multiple tattoos, all in black and white. She showed up in the underground wearing street clothes [x] and a black beanie.
♣personality and other stuff♣ :ilene doesn't remember much except for falling into a large, dark hole out of pure curiousity, and now waking up to find she is in a strange world filled with monsters. dazed, she doesn't remember much of anything, the fall having rattled her brain and damaging her memory. overall, she kind of looks like your typical teen 'punk', her outward personality mostly cautious and not overly friendly. sarcasm runs strong in her veins, and although she may have a bit of an attitude, she knows how to play it safe with her street smarts, and she can be quite kind. ilene tends to hold back her emotions most of the time, and tries to come off as 'tough'. although, sometimes she may crack and have a meltdown or become angry. being a humble person, ilene is quite generous and doesn't see violence as the answer to a situation.

♣physical description♣: marlin appears to look like a human, but that's certainly not the case. if you look closer, you'll notice his cheeks are particularly rosy and his joints are all connected with bolts. that being said, marlin looks something like a marionette; a puppet without strings. he wears a black tuxedo and has thick, dark brown hair that is swept upwards underneath a bowler hat. a fake mustache covers his upper lip, as he complains he can't seem to grow a real one. with large, comical blue eyes, a brilliant white smile, marlin looks all but normal, except when he walks, his 'bones' and 'joints' often creak.
♣personality and other stuff♣: marlin is quite the suave gentleman, or so he likes to believe. he has a knack for singing and playing musical instruments of any kind. one thing though about marlin, is that he does get upset easily, and can get depressed pretty quick. he's an odd little fellow, who, like a puppet, can move his limbs effortlessly in any direction. acting also comes naturally to him, and he can be quite frightening when he pleases.

Ilene:: location [somewhere in the underground] - tagged; open


The girl steadied herself as she tried to stand up, her hands and knees on the ground as she stared into the bed of flowers. Where am I? she questioned. That was the only thing crossing her mind. Ilene swallowed, her head was pounding. Carefully she looked up, trying to even out her breathing as she looked around the unfamiliar surroundings. There was nothing but darkness, but off to her right, a tiny, bright light illuminated a long path. Now, being a girl who is not going to sit around and wait for someone to show up, Ilene decided to carefully stand up and start walking down this strange, unknown path. A hand reached up to tug at her beanie, adjusting it on her head. Red leaves crunched under her feet, accompanying the sound of her rapid heart beat. Fright began to cloud her thoughts, strange images of unknown creatures crossed her vision. Ilene stopped frantically as a figure blurred by her, followed by a low croaking noise. Her lips pressed into a thin line, and she muttered quietly to herself, "What kind of place is this?"

The puppet walked at a brisk pace through town. He whistled a merry tune as he strutted along, tipping his head in greeting to all he passed. Ah, what a lovely day it certainly was. No humans in sight, no shortage of food, and nothing but glorious days ahead. A broad grin cracked across his face and he clacked his teeth in time with the creaking of his limbs. The cold made his movements more stiff, and some days, if the frost was too bad, he would get rooted to the spot where he was standing. Monster children would throw snowballs at him, and sometimes steal his hat. The thought made him a bit bitter, but thankfully today wasn't too cold. Happily, Marlin picked up the spring in his step once more and began to move his way through town, looking for something to occupy him.

Sans had looked at the cake once it had finished, and helped frisk put some fried snails on the top.

Frisk and sans went to snowdin with the cake, carefully carrying it towards the ruins. Once they got there sans gave the door a ginger knock. "Knock knock!" a few moments later, they heard her voice. "Whos there?" "Yappy dog" "Yappy dog who?" Frisk snickered and smiled patiently. "Yappy dog is here to give you a YAPPY birthday!" Sans opened the door and gave her the cake, which was a bit slimy from the fried snails.

Time had passed and Ilene was growing hungry. Her stomach rolled and she grimaced, a hand dragging along her torso. As far as she could tell, there was no signs of life down here. A small sigh escaped her lips, her eyes glazed over and worried."This is ridiculous..." she mumbled, a sore tone coating her tongue. Out of the blue, she heard happy cheers far off in the distant. Ilene paused in her footsteps and stared in the direction of the noise, her eyes wide in surprise. "Holy...There's people down here." she whispered, beginning to grin like a fool. Picking up the pace, she worked her way into a slow jog, bounding over the piles of leaves and path under her feet. An object suddenly sprung up in front of her, and Ilene came to a sudden halt. It was a sign, and she furrowed her brow as she read the precarious words out loud. "Please do not step on the leaves..." she mumbled. As if for comic relief, she looked down to notice she was indeed standing on a pile of leaves, which then proceeded to open up into a gaping hole in the ground. Ilene screeched as she fell through the ground, landing with a thud on the hard stone floor. "Just give me a break!" she cursed out loud, her head pounding as she stared up at the ceiling in a daze.

Marlin continued on his merry tune and side-stepped gracefully out of the way as Frisk and Sans came marching by. His brilliant eyes followed as he noticed they were carrying a cake covered in fried snails. "Huh, I wonder what lucky fella or missy is gonna get that?" he questioned, wiggling his thin eyebrows. Thinking about it now, the marionette was a bit hungry. Should he follow them? Ah, no no, that wouldn't be polite. Perhaps he could just head to Grillby's and order some french fries with extra ketchup. So, that is what he did. The puppet playfully swiveled one of his legs and sharply turned towards the direction of the food joint.

"Well, it's up to them to give Toriel the best cake ever, eh?" Undyne laughed, she knew that they were going to put something weird in there to show their friendly love to her, "What are we supposed to do now though? Should we start preparing a gift for her or something?"
