I think I will beat you! Damien jumped and transformed into a fox in mid air, his smaller and leaner body able to go faster. He jumped on Kenzi's back then pushed off as a boost, sending him a good ten feet in front of her. One hundred yards to go.

Kenzi shifted into a bear for the last few strides. She was just as fast as she was in wolf form but she took bigger steps. They were there, she slid to a halt.
