"Only if you want to, but it's best to be a vegetarian. It's kind of like how drugs work. If you choose human blood, then your partially hooked on it for awhile. It's hard to break. Vegetarians however have an easier diet and don't harm humans that much." Nathan explained.

"Yeah.. I should.." Hailey said, she drifted right back into sleep with her hand on Kendall's. Hailey's soft breath touched his pale, cold skin, however the breaths were warm. Hailey was probably beyond tired right now, once shw woke up she'd probably be a little cranky.

Sel nodded, her head heavy. She was getting very tired. "Caaan yoou teeach mee?" she asked, her words stammered and slurred. His face was so close to hers. She rested her face on his shoulder, facing into his neck. She winced every time the fire hit her head... it was starting to slow down a little.

Kendall held her hand gingerly, afraid to crush it. He massaged it softly with his thumb, hoping for her to get better soon so he could take her somewhere.

"Sure.." Nathan murmured, he put an arm around Sel and hugged her close. Nathan could hear her heart beat get slower and slower until he finally couldn't hear it anymore. "Do you feel any better?" Nathan asked afterwards.

Hailey mumbled a few things in her sleep, but then relaxed afterward. Hailey dreamed about having to go to the hospital, she didn't really enjoy going there, especially after what had happened to her as a child. The doctors couldn't get a reading off of her, then she just went to her family doctor and she recognized it with ease. Hailey is afraid they'll diagnose her with something else like a deadly disease instead of a small common cold, that's also why Hailey never trusted them either.

Sel slowly blinked her eyes open and smiled. "I feel great..." she murmured. "Thank you so much!" she squealed, hugging him close. She looked into his eyes, her own a brilliant red. "Should we go see my sister now and get her out of the horrid place?" she asked, giving his hand a small squeeze.

Kendall smiled as she spoke a little in her sleep. He laid down beside her on the oversized couch, watching her like a guardian angel. He studied her face carefully, reading the emotions she felt in her dreams. He took her in smell... he would recognize that smell anywhere now.

Nathan didn't really reply. He shook his head yes, but that was about it. Nathan didn't really bother to wait for Sel to get up and run with him, Nathan just took off anyway. He followed the smell of things she had touched in the past, the scent was unresistant to him still.

Hailey's dreamed seem to go rapidly across different topics, one was about the hospital then suddenly it was about her past, then it was suddenly just darkness. Nothingness. Not even a noise to be heard, Hailey was probably half awake now.

Sel took off after him and gasped. She felt like she was flying, like her speed had no limit. She soon caught up to him and ran beside him, feeling exhilarated. As she got to her house she put her hand on his chest. "Wait here... my dad isn't... the nicest of people." she murmured, walking inside. A few seconds passed. Sel let out a bone chilling growl. There was a thump... and then silence. Sel ran outside, blood staining her face. A million emotions played across her face. Anger, regret, but most of all, Sorrow. "He did it..." she whispered. "He killed my sister..." she murmured, her face strained.

Kendall brushed his thumb across her shoulder. He was fascinated with the sleeping... he had never watched anyone sleep before. It seemed almost impossible to him that resting should even exist. For a moment he felt angry that he couldn't fall asleep too.

"I'm sorry." Nathan tried to say with some emotion, but couldn't seem to force any out. "I could of went in, I've had worse.." Nathan mumbled. "Well.. shes in a better place then us, she can't be tortured anymore, she won't be a monster like us." Nathan said trying to calm Sel down.

Hailey mumbled but she sounded frustrated, dreams kept switching from black nothingness to nightmares, she couldn't wake herself up, she was just that tired.

Sel nodded slowly and sat on the sidewalk. "The whole reason I was so excited to be given a second chance... a new beginning... was to save her. What purpose do I have now?" she asked herself. She looked up at Nathan and smiled a little. "Want to go do something together?" she asked. She would have blushed if she could at the pathetic excuse for asking him on a date.

Kendall rested his hand on her arm. "Hailey?" he asked, unsure if he should wake her. It looked like she was angry... or scared. His face wrinkled in worry, not sure if she was still sick.

"Like what?" Nathan asked curiously. Nathan didn't really have any place left to go, maybe they could go somewhere like Italy, but that was probably way too big of a dream.

"Huh?" Hailey said sleepily. Hailey's vision was a little blurred and it was hard to open her eyes because dried mascara kept trying to fall into them.

Sel shrugged and sighed. "I'm not sure... I was thinking maybe you could show me how to hunt 'vegetarian' style?" she asked curiously, nervous.
