"Hey.." Hailey said. Hailey looked up at the sky, trying to make small talk "I think it's going to rain today.." Hailey said, she didn't mind being at the most rainiest place on Earth. The bell finally let out a ring, Hailey got up and gave a smile to the boy that sat by her. "I got to go.. I guess.." Hailey said looking at the school.

"I guess I'm that quiet then." Nathan said with a smirk, a long pause occurred before he replied once more. "I'm Nathan.." His voice almost emotionless, he was so fixed on Sel's smell, it was so beautiful and so mouth watering. Nathans eyes continued to darken. He heard the school bell ring. "I think that's the bell.." Nathan murmured.

Kendall waved to her. "I'll see you later then." he said giving her another warm smile. "I hope it does rain... I like the rain." he murmured, looking at the clouds. He grabbed his bag and prepared to leave but then he stopped. "Hey what class do you have next?" he asked.

Sel gave a weak smile. "Nice to meet you..." she said, her face slowly darkening. "I'm not going to school. I'm staying right here." she growled, shaking out her hair with her fingers and crossing her legs. "Not where those jerks are..." she added more quietly, looking at the ground.

"Who's being a jerk?" Nathan asked, he was just curious. He didn't go to school, he hadn't in awhile. "You need a good education." Nathan said trying to convince her. The smell didn't grow any heavier to him, thank goodness.

"I do to." Hailey said, "I have biology." Hailey added quickly. "You?" Hailey stared into his eyes, they seemed to shine in the darkness of the clouds that hid the sunlight over them. Almost everyone started to head in when a small sprinkle of rain came down.

Hailey rolled her eyes. "My friends" she said, putting up air quotes as she said that. "They told my crush that I like him... then they made him ask me on a date when he didn't intend to go... I got all excited and then everyone started laughing at me." she murmured, putting her head on her hands. "I don't like him anymore though... not if he's jerk enough to do that." she added quietly.

Kendall's golden eyes glittered softly as he looked around. "Me too." he told her. "I'll walk you to class if you want..." he murmured with a smile. He had talked to the office earlier about switching to that class... 'That is very lucky...' he thought to himself.

Nathan had a friend like that once, but what Sel was put threw was way worse. "Do you want to go somewhere with me then?" Nathan asked politely.

"Uhh.. sure." Hailey stumbled, no one ever offered her that before. Hailey started to walk off towards the school entrance, it was almost barren out here now, all the students were inside already.

Sel looked up at this gorgeous boy she had just met. 'He wants to go somewhere? With me?!' she thought to herself. She walked up close to him and smiled. "Sure! Where do you want to go?" she asked curiously, her brown eyes studying his face.

Kendall smiled and kept stride with her easily, trying very hard not to pass her. He looked around him and started to laugh a booming laugh. He was doubled over with laughter. He straightened up and tried very hard to keep a straight face. "You'd think that on the Olympic Peninsula more people would be out here enjoying the rain." he smiled. "I know it's a silly reason to laugh... I don't know what came over me." he smiled, his velvety voice filling the silence.

"Anywhere." Nathan said, his cold pale skin touched her shoulder in sign that he wouldn't try to hurt her, no matter how good the smell of her blood was to him. "Anywhere." He mumbled in repeat. Nathans eyes were almost as black as midnight now.

Hailey has a small smile on her face. "Whatever that means." Hailey said, she noticed his pale skin better now. "Your pale.. are you feeling alright?" Hailey asked in concern and in confusion. Hailey opened the door to the school and sharply turned into the biology room. She sat down at the back of the room which had the only empty table.

Sel thought carefully, blushing as he touched her shoulder. "What about the beach?" she asked, studying his face. "Your eyes are black... so pretty." she murmured, staring into them as if in a trance. Her face went blank and she looked over his face. She sighed in defeat and looked at the ground.

Kendall pulled up a chair and sat beside her. His face was blank, a poker face. "I live in one of the rainiest places in the US... of course I'm pale." he joked, trying to smile. But it was wrong... it didn't reach his eyes. It concerned him that she was starting to be observant... that was usually when trouble started. He looked at her and smiled a real smile again, his eyes liquid gold. "Thank you very much for asking though." he breathed, his voice soft and light.

Nathans expression didn't change. "Sure." He said after a few minutes of silence. "And thanks.. I guess." Nathan added. Nathan didn't have a car yet, so he wasn't sure how we was going to take Sel to the beach. "Would you like to walk?" Nathan asked.

"It's fine.. I think.." Hailey said, she was getting a little confused. Hailey looked on the board, today they were labeling cell cycles. "You go first." Hailey said dragging over the microscope.

Sel nodded. "Sounds good..." she smiled. She looked around her and then at the ground. She started kicking a rock in front of her, trying to keep it from disappearing into the ferns. "Hey Nathan? How come YOU aren't going to school?" she asked curiously.

Kendall nodded and looked inside. "Anaphase..." he murmured. He looked at her and pushed the microscope towards her. "Would you like to take a look?" he asked. He breathed in deeply and slowly. His eyelids fluttered closed and then he looked up at the board, his eyes a tiny bit darker.
