Tate was sitting alone in the back of the train, looking out the large glass window, his back away from the door. He knew everyone would be in the dining room cart of the train, he also realized he should eat something, but he couldn't trust himself to keep any food down. Why did I volunteer? He asked himself before answering the question, I volunteered because of that 12-year-old boy. I volunteered because of my lack of family and friends that would care about me. I didn't volunteer to participate in the games....... I volunteered to die.

Blair shook her head, but as she was about to say something, Brooke got side tracked by another tribute. Oh well, at least she seems nice. Easy target probably. She thought as then brushed her light blonde/ strawberry blonde hair out of her eyes and into a ponytail. Blair then stood up and looked for somewhere to put her dirty plate, but she saw nowhere so she just left it on the table and walked away.

Blair looked up quickly and jumped slightly in fright as someone bumped into her, but quickly calmed down as she saw who it was. "It's okay, I'm Blair, the District 3 tribute." She said as she silently studied him, trying to find if he has any noticeable weak spots that could turn into a fatal flaw.

She snorted. "Food's right outside your door. I think we're fine." She sighed. Then something snagged at her mind. "I know this subject is getting old. But did you have an older brother that left with your mum?"
