The year is 1889,where the odd and off-putting are shunned. Life is mostly centered around social class, and knowing your place. Nearly impossible to be out of the social norm, the world slowly drove the 'defective' members of society away. As a romantic thought as it is, you could never belong if you were one of the few...That lived on the outskirts. In London,where our story shall take place,two things were wildly popular. The first being meat pie,and the second being foreign sounding traveling carnivals. This, coincidentally, is also the setting for our story. Whoever you are, you are different. Whether you have magical eyes or a body covered in fur, you have found refuge here. "The Carnival of Death" in English. It was certainly not a place whose named meant it conducted strictly out of the law, but rather that the owner was Romanian and knew fear sells. But as of late, they have bigger problems than ticket sales. The strong "man" has been taken away by the police and to a house for the mentally fragile-In a room with other actual crazy people. In a few days, you and a few others must be off through treacherous alleys and tunnels...To return him to his rightful place.

Rules

First off,you cannot join as an existing character. Not because i'm worried of copyright,but i'm worried of butchering some fine character you picked. Nobody RP's certain people by the book,not even me,you,your aunt May,or anyone else.

Secondly, don't interrupt. I don't care if your character hates another character,so long as they don't break up a moment just to focus all attention on "LOOK AT ME! I'M MAKING A SPECTACLE OF MYSELF WITH FLAWED LOGIC! SOMEONE POINT THAT OUT TO ME!"

Thirdly, no Sues. By this,I mean think before you post-And use some logic! Want a pyromancer? Nifty. Just don't walk around melting steel swords,because that would require take-off jet heat...And if you are that big of a walking incinerator, you've reached some sort of unheard form of enlightenment and are now a Sue.

Last, just follow the Tess rules. That shouldn't be too hard.

Talent: Extremely agile and swift on her feet, which is thanks to her being basicly half cat. She's excelent at balance and jumping, a true marvel of a mixture between human and animal. Her weapons of choice? Her fists, and two daggers that she keeps with her at all times. Her mind is quick, and focuses all of her strength into an attack to become an excelent fighter and a worthy opponent.
Bio: She doesn't know anything of where she came from or who she really is, and she's grown up on the streets her whole life, which is where she gets her street smarts. She knows every alley way and door way, and can pick a lock in seven seconds flat. She's very fiesty, and alot tougher than most girls her age, and wont take lip from anyone. She's headstrong, fearless, and completely in tune with her environment. If you need to survive on the streets, Inori is your girl.

Blonde hair, golden eyes, and darker brown colored cat ears. Which tell everyone who sees her that she's not a normal human, but something far more mysterious and wonderful. Her pretty face can often lead people astray, as she is alot tougher than she looks, and isn't afraid to snap if someone gets on her nerves.
Trivia: Inori's never known the easy life. She's always lived a life of risk and chance, not knowing if she'll live to see the next sun rise. But despite all that, she's the kindest person you could meet if you stay on her good side. She knows nothing of her family or even who she is, all she has of her past is a necklace that she's had for as long as she can remember, a golden pendant in the shape of a lion's head, with topaz gems for eyes.

Talent: Seemingly normal in human appearance, but there's a hidden talent in the mind of this young man. His mind can influence animals, and even people some times. Outside his influence, any animal would be a wild beast, just another normal animal, but under his control, they become as tame or as deadly as he needs them to be. With people, he avoids using his powers on them because he doesn't like invading the minds of others, he feels that it's wrong to do, but if absolutely nessessary, he'll use his powers only for the good of others.
Bio: Zen has lived on his own basicly his whole life, rejected by his family for his strange and otherworldly power of communication with animals, he left to try and find a better life for himself. The outskirts of the city provided him with a chance for this new life, and he's hoping to just find a place we're he can be accepted, and live free, like he's always wanted.

Long black hair, light greyish blue eyes, a slender build and a gentle personality. He appears totally human, but his mind holds something far more amazing. He keeps an arrowhead necklace with him at all times, and always keeps a hidden dagger with him, since he's always causious when around people, because of him being 'different'.
Trivia: Zen is quite caring despite his hard and difficult past, he holds high compassion for his friends and would do anything for them. He longs for the freedom of being able to live his own life and to be accepted despite being different form any other normal human.

Talent:She is more flexible than anybody shes met and it wicked intelligent. She's a swift jumper and rarely ever falls off of anything. She can sense danger and can sometimes tell if someone is lying or not. If she were to be in a fight she prefers hand-to-hand combat.
Bio:She came from a small town with a population of just under 200 people. Her parents realized she was 'different' and they grew to fear her. She will speak her mind and doesn't care if it offends you or not. She is quick on her feet and can come up with an excuse for anything,usually quickly but sometimes she needs time. She always told her parents she would rather be out on the street from day one then live with people who hate her and then she ran out of the house. She never had the best street smarts so she didn't really know what to do until she fled to some woods and made a bow and arrow.

Trivia:Theodora always lived a great life. Had plenty of friends and parents who cared. But if you look beyond all that you notice a little girl who has been torturing herself inside for being different and who will easily snap if you say the wrong thing.

Also,I love the idea of a wood nymph but keep in mind the story is set in the city, so a lady with pointed ears, a revealing outfit and a deadly outdated weapon would probably be jailed on principal. Be as weird as you want, but just in a way you can hide.

Talent:Percy,in short,is a human Tesla Coil. His body is naturally a better conductor than copper,and is immune to electricity that could kill any other man. Although he cannot create electricity,he can harness and emit it if he is in contact (Like with a live wire or generator). Besides that,he can also use rain and the ocean to his advantage,creating an aura of static electricity around himself.

Bio:For a traveling performer,Percival Palmer Proctor (He resented his father for this.) lived a fairly normal childhood. His father,the owner of the sideshow,was actually not Romanian. He inherited it from his father,who inherited it from his father for four generations,who won it from the Romanian gypsy founder in a game of chess. Talent in his family did not skip generations,his mother could...Speak to fish. Not being able to connect with his mother,he spent most days honing his talents in a vain attempt to gain the attention and respect from his prodigy father...That he never got. At the age of Twenty-two,his father died and he became the rightful owner,acting as a father figure for the many orphans that came in. A strange mix of socially awkward and elegance,Percy no longer tries to seem cool amongst younger people,instead he has conversations with the more mature members of the circus, although he tries to act as a stern authority figure-despite mercy and kindness coming before rules and chores.

Looks (Description) Percy keeps himself wrapped up in a multitude of thick clothes,that he wears indoors and out. A thin cotton shirt,a tan vest,and a heavy leather longcoat. He keeps his tophat on at all times,even if traveling in the worst conditions-taking it off only to wash his hair or change clothes. He keeps a pair of goggles with him, most often around his neck. His cane is not needed for help walking,but rather if he needs to defend himself out of reach of metal,or wires.

Trivia:Percy cannot read,decipher a map,write or hold a pencil properly.
