Mmm, I see. Rockstars do seem to be the most popular. If Hyland were just a pro skateboarder would he then be accepted? But he sings and does guitar on the side but not proffessionaly?

I'm sorry, a skateboarding actor? [I'm not sure I read that properly] I tried an RP like this before and Hyland had to be a professional skateboarder. Directors drive him up the wall with all their 'we'll have to do some editing and make you look presentable' or 'you'll need a stunt double'. Acting does not fit Hyland's personality whatsoever. He gets angry pretty easily and hates to be ordered to do something.
