Alex smiled and said "I'll find something".

"good luck with that" she smiled and ran around trying to find a scent.

Alex chuckled and wandered off a bit into the trees sniffing around. He found an old rabbit den but, it was empty.

Persey glanced over her shoulder and watched Alex looking down a hole or something. She was going to turn round and ask what it was but he had gone. Persey sat still on the ground and watched for animals really carefully. There were a couple of birds standing on a branch she was to small to reach

Alex kept sniffing around and sat for a moment before getting up again and trotting back to Persey. "Hey" he was about to bark until he saw what she was staring at. He stopped dead and started to stalk them.

Persey looked at Alex, Lucky he realised the birds were there she thought. "Do we eat birds?" she whispered as she hadn't seen foxes or wolves eating birds before

((You mean Alex...right? LOl))

Alex nodded and whispered "You can if there is nothing else around". He quietly circled the tree and stared at the birds one flew to the ground to eat some seeds off the forest floor but even before the bird touched the ground Alex caught it in his mouth. The bird in his mouth made a terrible screech and the other birds in the tree flew away in a hurry.

"You got one!" Persey said "Awesome!" She looked around and ran off to get her own. She got to a tree and behind it was a bird, she pounced on it silently and grabbed it in her mouth. She ran back to Alex

Alex smiled when she came back "And you did too!". He sat down and started to pluck a few feathers from the bird.

Persey laughed and started picking feathers from the bird too, "This is gonna take forever" she complained
