Jack nodded. He was pretty happy with his score of 8 though he thought he would do better. "The district 11 girl is a really fast runner. i don't think we can get her right at the bloodbath but we should go for Cedric. if the careers start targeting us then we should just leave and come back later to see if they've left the cornucopia like last year. This time lets never let each other out of our sight especially with enemies around."

scarlet smiled and blushed a little. "Well... Yeah..." She said shyly. "I think you deserved a ten though. we should target the district 7 girl at the start."

Will and wilma were being idiots screaming about their marks thinking they were so cool.

bella stared at Frank and after 12 minutes realized he was talking to her. Then she smiled and kept staring of course

Jonas knew he was better. He just rolled his eyes and said nothing but he was smiling because he knew he was the best number one even though there were a lot of number ones

"We'll find her, no problem," Adria said, brushing off the situation. "We're in this together, Jack. I have a feeling that this year's going to be different from the previous two."
She had told herself earlier that there would be no room for mistakes this year—she wouldn't do the same things that Aster and Adonis had done. So far, she was doing very well trying not to follow the path that her siblings had gone down. The sixty-fifth games were the first year that the Caraways and Tybalts had ever been tributes in the arena, and the two had been very unprepared. Jules and Aster had lingered near the Cornucopia too long, making the fatal decision to take on the Careers which resulted in Aster being forced to impale Jules. This caused her to enter a deep state of insanity, where she turned on her alliance and viciously slaughtered Marie Lorech, the girl from District Five. However, Marie's death had been quick; Aster had taken her time on the District Eleven female, however. Rosemary Hill had been stabbed before Aster snapped her neck; not to the point where she would instantly die, however, for she was not done. She then drew a bloody smile onto Rosemary's face and carved 'A.C.'—the initials that all members of the Caraway family shared—into the young girl's chest, leaving her behind to die—which most likely did not happen for about thirty minutes. Aster was then killed the next afternoon, pleading innocent to Lily Brie's blade by reason of insanity before being instantly slain instead of facing an agonizing, drawn-out death.
The following year, Adonis and Jody had gone into the games. This time, the Caraways and Tybalts had decided to take on an ally, the girl from District Five, whose name was Tora Lupei. Her twin brother, Todd, had been in the games with Aster and Jules the year before. He had proved to be very strong and had successfully killed two Careers. However, Tora seemed to be much nicer, but that was only a facade to mask her true self. The three had been getting along during the games very well, and seen the sunrise two times when Tora finally turned on them. Not only that, but Emilie Sylvio was nearing the Cornucopia, and both seemed to be targeting Adonis and Jody. Jody went down first at the hands of Emilie, and although Adonis had the chance to run, he decided to be killed along with the girl he loved. Before Tora swung her mace, Adonis drove his pocketknife into Tora's shoulder, and his cannon fired shortly after.
It shall be different because we are ready to fight. It shall be different because we only need each other, Adria vowed.
    We shall survive.

Bauxite noticed Scarlet blush and grinned slightly, proud of himself and the fact that he was able to get his district partner to do so even though he didn't quite know her. "I'm glad you agree—you should really be one of the Gamemakers. They should have someone as smart and beautiful as you to help with the scores, because they're not thinking right about them."
When she agreed that they should target Adria, he decided to boast about the many ways that he could kill her. "Yeah! I could take a spear and toss it into her abdomen and then rip it out and stab both her shoulders. Then, I'll slash the head of my spear across her face between her eyes."
However, he wasn't done—he was just thinking about what he was going to do next.
"After that, I'll stab her between the ribs over and over again before leaving the spear there—or maybe pushing it all the way through her body so it comes out her back. I'll then take a sword and cut her legs off, and—" From across the room, his mentor glowered at him and Baux grew silent to the point where it was deadly. His voice then dropped to a whisper. "To finish it off, I'll behead her with her own knife; that curved one she used in training looks like it would be fun to use on helpless, weak tributes. I'll then paint my face with her blood, and I'll paint yours too, if you want. We'll paint everyone's faces! We can be like ancient warriors, all of us, and—"
His mentor was now leaning forward with arms folded, and Baux quickly made a concluding statement.
"That girl is dead—I'm going to tear her and the rest of that Caraway dynasty to shreds."

Jack nodded then thought about the last few years. The first one jules had died in the bloodbath and the second jody had been killed by a career. jack knew it would change this time. "this year is the one we win." he said determined. "we have to make jules, aster, adonis and jody proud. i know we will. although i have a lot of questions about the last years. especially the first one which makes me wonder if we can trust the adamsons to fight honorable: if aster snapped rosemarys neck and it took her almost an hour to die then technically wasn't richie right about Rowan being worse than Clark because Rowan was just torturing everyone even more by doing what he did?"

Scarlet nodded. "that is a great idea!" she said with a smile. "and her fat boyfriend i want to kill. I will draw lipstick on his pretty little face with a KNIFE and the lipstick will be his BLOOD. I will burn him at a stake. just like you will get rid of those caraways I will make sure the tybalts go DOWN!"

Sally flew into a rage at Jonas, screeching like a soprano banshee. "How dare you not bow down to me!" she shouted at him, grabbing the boy by the collar as she screamed ear-piercing frequencies that could shatter glass. "If I see you roll your eyes again you will have no eyes to roll!" The deranged girl then proceeded to drag her district partner off the couch, but she really got nowhere before she gave up. "That's it. I will discuss this with Ally and decide a punishment for you!" she yelled, storming out the door.

Mortimer woke up in a cold sweat. For a second he thought he was on an operating table. Well, he was on a table alright, but it was the one in his room. He jumped off, then screamed upon seeing his shadow. It was a long, intimidating shadow, like a big scary monster.
"Mommy!" wailed the idiotic boy, bolting from the room. He still had his pajamas on, and he ran past Angelina in the living room, immediately heading into the hallway. He was going to find the person in his team with the highest score; Wilma. Maybe she could protect him from the monsters.

Frank was breaking out in a sweat. He didn't know what to say or do. Bella was still staring at him, and he wasn't sure if she wanted him to keep talking, kiss him, or just stop. He needed relationship advice from the experts; his team. "Come on Bella, let's go see the others," he said. Frank was the person who least liked taking charge, but he had never heard Bella say anything except for one word during the interview; "no". Oh, and her voice was so beautiful. Frank would do anything just to hear a "yes"...

Mitchell had been crying in joy, but now he cried in earnest. "Meanie! Girls are pigs!" he wailed. Suddenly, he stopped crying as several knocks sounded at the door. He stood up, wiping his nose disgustingly, and strode over to the door. He opened it to see his team standing there.
"Where is Ally?" demanded Sally.
"Wilma! Waaaah!" wailed Mortimer.
"My dear master, I beg you," Frank said dramatically, "please provide me with advice! Or redirect me to our Supreme Queen Ally who must have the best advice around, she is a goddess on Earth."
"Everyone is here to see us," Mitchell told Ally arrogantly, no longer crying. Now he was smirking in the most egotistican and irritating manner possible, which was even more disgusting, because he seriously looked like Clark Taylor from the sixty-fourth Games.

Wilma and Will came too because they were bored.

"No!" Jonas said then cried as he ran after Sally.

Bella just walked after Frank staring at him

The idiots showed up at the door of Mitch and Ally.

(gtg good night everyone!)

Ally had gotten up from the couch after Mitchell called her over, greeting her female guests with a large smiles and disregarding the males who had come to visit. "Alright, alright! Settle down," Ally demanded furiously. "Come on in. It's time to have a party! We are the best alliance in these games and we might as well celebrate before we enter the arena and kill everyone."
She then gestured over toward Mitchell. "But I'd like to remind all of you of that arm wrestle that took place between Clair Grant and my district partner today. You guys remember what the consequence would be if he lost, right?" A smile curled over her lips. "It'd be that we all get to kill him. And unfortunately for Mitchell here, he did lose, because he went up against a girl, and girls are always better than boys. So, when the games begin, we all go for Mitchell. Tough luck for him, am I right? He is a boy after all, and boys are always unlucky."

( gonna get back with my other characters tomorrow. goodnight guys! )

theo couldnt help but smile as he familiarized himself with caesar's speech as he declared that his score was of a high one, a ten. the way caesar emphasized the number with a small surprised face accompanied with that pearly smile made theo felt that all his training bore fruit, it made him feel important and noteworthy in the controversial squad of formally entitled the 'careers'.
wiping the foggy mirror with his wet palm, the boy watched his reflection is the mirror, with the only elegant echo of droplets of water from the shower head hitting the minimalist and formal marble flooring of the bathroom. blue eyes met with the identical blue as his reflection stared back at him in the most timid glare. theo started to ponder in his small mind, thinking of his life, thinking of the people he blessed with his very existence, thinking of clair and the grants...
there, his thought was interrupted when a heavy knock spawned on the mahogany door. turning his head to the source of the sound, the male then slipped himself in a simple white top and black knee-length trousers. exiting the bathroom along with the warm steams that seemed so foreign among the cold air, theo directed himself to the door, with the knocking getting more intense as he neared himself upon the entrance.
      a turn. a click. and a creak.
"c-clair?" theo said, evidently surprised as to why she was on his room's door. his warm brown hair still wet and eyes of the sky widened on clair's smaller figure, theo opened the door wider, as if to welcome the girl to come in. in which, he did that on purpose.

Leo smiled at the scores, the entire team looked good. "This is definitely a good group of allies!" He commented.

"I don't know. I promised Adonis and Aster in my dreams that I'd fight them honorably no matter what, the way we have for two years, and they would reciprocate the gesture," Adria responded. "We should also consider that Rowan was a bit, well, off, and that every Adamson is different. I don't think Maple would take pride in delivering slow, painful deaths to her victims in the same manner. Yet, then again, her silent facade may just be a masquerade for who she truly is. We'll keep our eyes out, but we will not hunt her, for she is not targeting us and we should not do the same in order to keep the pact between our deceased families strong."

Baux could feel himself growing excited at the thought of maiming the tributes from District Seven, wondering what their blood would feel like when painted across his face. "How dare that Adria Caraway score the same as me and better than you? We are much stronger than her, and that boyfriend of hers as well. He received the same mark as you and he does not deserve to be held to such a high standard. You are much better than him; the two should have received ones because of their lack of skill. They cannot compare to District One!" His eyes flashed with eagerness and bloodlust as he repeatedly made a motion with his hands as if to snap one's neck.

Re: The 67th Hunger Games (Scores posted!)

Maple nodded, running through the list of the teammates in her mind. The District One tributes seemed quite enthusiastic. Their energy would be useful in the days to come, same with Clair. The pair from District Three seemed to be peacemakers, and from what Maple had observed, highly intelligent and empathetic. Her own partner, Leo, was a renowned striker; capable of moving almost impossibly fast with his sword blade, though he lacked in endurance. That was where Maple came in. The defender's strength was to outlast, then overpower. Maple did that best. Many of her allies relied on offensive power, not stamina; Maple was the strong protector they could count on once they began to tire in a fight.
So when she responded, she spoke with all the calm assurance of her politician brethren, like Acacia and Rowan and Willow and countless others before her.
"Indeed."

Clair couldn't help but grin as Theodore opened the door for her. "Hi, Theo!" the little redhead said cheerfully, entering the door and managing not to trip over the threshold, thankfully. His hair was wet, he had probably taken a shower. Clair would take hers early the next morning; she didn't want to wake Cedric, that would be an awfully low move. She didn't see Naomi anywhere, maybe she had already gone to bed. Clair examined the District Three room excitedly. It had many bookshelves, unlike Clair's room, which contained a fishtank for entertainment. The District Four bathroom was also said to be the largest and fanciest; the bathtub was the size of a small pool, and there was even a sauna in the other room.
"I like the decor," she said with a smile, "you guys must be really smart from all these books." Of course one had to read the books to get the information out, but Clair didn't think that hard. "Sorry, I got distracted! I came up here to say something..."
She took a moment to actually think, and then it hit her. "Oh, yeah! Your training score! Ten, I'm so happy for you!" with a delighted squeal she threw her arms around her ally's torso, since she was too short to hug his shoulders. "We will make the best team ever!"

A cheer went up from at least half the alliance as Ally announced Mitchell's punishment. Sally, as usual, was the loudest because of her ridiculous voice.
Mitchell rolled his eyes, he was so arrogant, he didn't think they could beat him anyway. He was the best and strongest human being in existence. He could probably wrestle a thousand lions and come out of the fight without a scratch. "Whatever. I don't really care," he said boldly, still wearing that hideous smirk. Now he looked like Bane and Clark's grandchild; the other half of the family was from Blake and Richie, and somewhere along the line was a bit of Cobalt Carmine.
"Let's get on with the party," he said stupidly, but he thought he sounded cool.
"One more announcement!" Sally screamed over the noise. "Ally and I are still your Queens. Though we are all number one, except Wilma who is number two, we are the most one-est number ones in this alliance." Especially Ally, she thought affectionately. There was not a more attractive woman in Panem. "You must obey us at all times!"
"Yes, ma'am!" Frank said faithfully.
"Now let's get on with the party!" Sally yelled, sticking her tongue out at Mitchell, whose words she had just repeated. But of course, she was better. She was the most amazing person in the world, and nobody could compare with the sheer scale of her grandeur.
