(Ok!)

Jules nodded but then he stuck out his tongue when Aster ate the cookie. "Jack you better start making more." He said pointing to the kitchen.
Jack stomped off angrily. "Fine. I hope you all get rabies from Richie Banks."
"What was that for!" Jules laughed.
"I don't know! I just feel like being angry at you. We're in a fight now."
"Fine!" Jules laughed even harder. "I hate you Jack!"

Jill squeaked fearfully when January almost grabbed her by the collar. She ran even faster. She wished she was as fast as Hermes because she felt like all the titans were after her. "We're so dead! Let's go hide in the sawmill!" She said when she finally caught up with Atalante.
"What did you say!" January yelled angrily. "Did you just threaten to KILL me? That's it! You are both SO dead when I get my hands on you!"
June nodded. She was laughing as she stood up. "I look like Rosemary Hill you're right. I'm pretty sure she's a ghost too." She said.

Aster quirked an eyebrow as Jack told Jules that they were in a fight. "He's probably having Adria-withdrawl. Pretty deadly. Symptoms include having a girlfriend who's alive while you're dead and baking cookies." She thought for a moment. "If the illness is left untreated, he will grow rabid. And the cure?" Aster grinned. "Seeing Adria again."
She laughed at her own joke. Perhaps Adria-withdrawl was an actual sickness—for Jack, at least.
Hopefully the cure would arrive soon.

"Okay," Atalante breathed. She could feel herself beginning to run out of breath, but persisted onward. She was truly afraid that January was literally going to kill her and Jillian.
She careened right through a gap in the trees, extending her hand backwards to take Jill's and guide her. The sawmill was in sight; a slight ways uphill, located in a glade with few trees surrounding it. As they reached the dirt path leading to the building, she glanced back over her shoulder to see if Jana was still following them.
Because of Adria's return, no one was there. Sawmill workers had off from work because of the victor's arrival. She burst through the doors, hiding behind one of the conveyer belts. She beckoned Jill over.
"She probably haunts us," Addison giggled. "I don't think she was too pleased with how she died... so she's looking for..." She suddenly turned and raised her arms to scare Jasper. "... Revenge!"

"That's probably actually a thing. I hope he didn't hear that." Laughed Jules. "I bet that's a real disease and Jack has a TERMINAL case of it!" He was laughing so hard at this joke he forgot to breathe but then he realized he didn't need to breathe because he was dead and that made him laugh harder. When he was done laughing Jack walked back into the room with the tray of cookies. "Fight's over." Said Jack smiling sweetly. "Eat up."
These chocolate chip cookies looked DELICIOUS! Jules took a bite of one... But spat it out. "RAISINS! NOOO!"
Now it was Jack's turn to laugh.

Jill felt like she could run faster with Atalante taking her hand. She felt like she could run like the wind. When they came to the sawmill she followed through the doors and crawled behind another conveyor belt close to Atalante.
January was pretty ticked off because she had gone in the wrong direction and she couldn't find those two kids. She shook her head and muttered under her breath. Angrily she decided to go home.
Jasper was getting very pale even for a District 7 person. When Addison raised her arms he squealed and made a sound like a soprano singer then jumped to hide behind June. June just laughed and made a 'creepy' noise. "Ooooh I'm going to haunt yoooouuuu!" She teased.
Jasper looked like he was going to pass out. He ran and hid under the dining table.

Aster tried to suppress her laughter as Jules realized they were oatmeal cookies, but she couldn't help herself. "That was great," she said, looking at Jack as if he were the ultimate prankster. She almost felt obligated to bow down. "I think you 'n I are gonna get along great here in Lecture Hall," Aster sighed, grinning maliciously. "We'll prank the Banks with oatmeal cookies, and then we'll torture them and mock them for their stupidity. This is totally the life!"

Atalante peered over the conveyer belt. January hadn't arrived yet, but she decided to remain low. "She might be hiding and waiting to scare us," she said. "What should we do while we try to outlast her? It may be cold, but I could stay out here all night if it means surviving. I don't wanna die yet, and I don't want you to die, either! That would suck."
"Aw, come on, Jasper," Addison said, patting him lightly on the back. "It's alright. You're gonna be fine. There ain't no ghost. And if there was, I'd totally destroy it! Only I can haunt you!"

Jack nodded with an evil smile. "I might even put bugs in their cookies and call them chocolate chips. We should become OFFICIAL torturers of the Banks!"

Jill nodded. "I think we should talk about school." She said. Secretly she was really enjoying her time here with Atalante even though they were being hunted by a psycho murderer. "I heard you're the best axe wielder in your class but I'm not at all surprised!"
Jasper laughed. "Okay I believe you." He said crawling out from the table. He felt safe around Addison because she didn't allow anyone to beat him up except herself but of course he didnt mind. "You're not going to haunt me though because you're going to win the Games!"

"Aww, man. That'd be totally awesome," Aster agreed, "But everyone should be able to have a jab at those little ginger wannabe-devils. It'd be no fun if we had them all for ourselves!" She then grabbed an oatmeal cookie and ate it before glancing back up at Jules and Jack. "What? I don't mind the raisins like everyone else does. But if you tell anybody that..." Aster trailed off, shaking her head and clenching her fists and trying to finish her sentence.

"Yeah!" Atalante agreed with a smile. She loved school. Though she wasn't the smartest in her class, she still loved English and Social Studies. Geography was the easiest thing ever; she could draw a map of Panem in her sleep. History only covered the global disaster hundreds of years ago, the Dark Days, and past Games up until the present, as there were very few records of what took place before the unification of Panem, so it was a total breeze. Meanwhile, in English, they read books and learned about literary devices. Amaris told her it was going to be more difficult in the future, but Atalante didn't care. She loved it now, so she would still love it in the future.
She smiled pridefully at the mentioning of her status. Another part of school was learning about the industry and learning the different trades within the district. One of the required courses within this subject was axe-wielding, which was first taught at home by learning how to whittle. Students would be ranked on their skills with axe-wielding in the specialized class, the categories for judging being whittling, of course, accuracy, and efficiency. The further a student excelled in all three categories, the higher up they'd be on the leaderboard. Atalante was at the top in her class, and was in seventh place overall throughout all twelve grades.
"Thanks," she finally answered with a smile. "Where are you in the rankings? I mean, I won't judge or anything if it's bad, but I wouldn't think it is. I wouldn't be surprised either if you're one of the best in your class."
"Psh," Addison snorted. "I'm not going to win. Amaris is, and I can't compare to her. If I'm not that strong by the time I'm fourteen—I've got four years to go—I'm definitely going to be killed. And anyways, I can't even settle on a weapon."
"Well, you're not the greatest with an axe," Adria intervened, stepping into the kitchen. "Or knives. Or swords. Or—"
    "Adria!" Addison whined.
"Okay, okay," the victor replied with a softhearted laugh. "There's no need to worry. You'll find something. You might even be too young for weapons."
"But Atalante—she—she's great with an axe, and—"
"Your time will come," Adria promised. "Now why is there such a commotion going on in here?"

"Good point." Said Jack. "You can finish that threat with 'I'll throw you in a cage with the Banks freaks'."
Jules laughed. "You know what the Banks are really good for? Getting punched in the face. Like if you ever want a free punching bag you just grab one of them!"

Jill smiled a little bashfully because her ranking wasn't that good. "I'm last in the class." She admitted blushing because she was so embarrassed. "I'm trying to get 2nd last this year. I am way too impatient to whittle and I get mad when we're trying to be accurate so I don't even hit the tree and once I very nearly hit my teacher. I actually cut off some of her hair and it was too close of a call. Don't even bring up efficiency because its actually way more efficient if I just rip out a tree from its roots with my bare hands. Trust me I've done it before with one of the fake saplings. The teacher lectured me because apparently that's the wrong way to do it!"
Back home Jasper shook his head. "There's still time. I bet you're going to be great!"
June smiled at Adria. "Well we were kind of just casually killing each other."

"Yeah!" Aster grinned, obnoxiously snatching more cookies. "I'll stuff these in their faces. Does cookie torture exist? Can you like, kill people with them?" She then glanced over at Jules, throwing one of the cookies at him as hard as she could. "Did that hurt? Or..." she grabbed another one, beginning to walk toward him. "Hold still..."

Atalante tilted her head. "That's okay," she told Jillian, offering her friend a smile. "Maybe I can help you. Whittling takes a while, but if you're good with a knife, you can get done even quicker. You should see Atticus whittle. It takes only a couple of minutes! Perhaps he'll help you out too. I can whittle pretty good, but it takes me a while. I'm better when it comes to accuracy and efficiency. You've got to swing the axe smooth, but fast. Also, you've got to hit the same mark you've made with your first swing. Otherwise, you're just doing it aimlessly. Efficiency judges your productivity. If you were persistent and kept going until the tree was timbered, then you've succeeded. If you take breaks, or, in your case, get angry..." Atalante tried not to laugh. "Then that's not efficient. The work force of our district is very diligent. They work until the job is done. And we've got to learn from that." She furrowed her brow slightly, evidently deep in focus. She didn't really know what else to say.
"Do you have any questions?" She tried, eyes flashing over to Jill. "I don't know if I can answer all of them, since I basically just said everything I know, but I'll try my best."
"Really?" Addison asked, trying not to grin ridiculously. If anything, she believed Jasper was going to win the Games. Because if he was killed, Addison would need to talk to his murderer. "What weapon should I use?"
"Interesting," Adria nodded with a smile of amusement. "We're going soon, Addison, so begin saying goodbye to everyone. I'm going to look for Atalante; I saw her go outside. There's no doubt that she's causing trouble. When I get back, we'll eat some cookies and then head home."

"What?" jules said fearfully. He really didn't feel the cookie hitting him but he was getting nervous. "Um I think I hear Jody calling me. I got to go!" He tried to leave but Jack blocked the exit.
"Come on. You can't chicken out of an experiment! We're as professional as District 3 people." Jack laughed.
"Oh no..."

Jill smiled excitedly. "That would be awesome! I would love some help." She then listened as Atalante explained how to be accurate and efficient. "Oh. You're right. I need to not freak out at the tree!" She laughed. "Hm questions... How many marks do you think I lost from ripping out the tree with my bare hands?"
Jasper nodded. "You should be like Jill and use your bare hands! I can imagine you getting really angry and ripping someone in half. Actually I don't want to imagine that. That's a little disgusting."
"Aww!" Josiah whined when Adria said they were leaving. He then started handing out hugs to everyone.

Aster continued to walk toward Jules. "You know I won't hurt you too badly," she told him. "It's just an experiment! A test! To see whether if cookies can, like, actually slice people up. And anyways, I killed you once... I'll make it less painful this time!"

Atalante smirked lightly. "I think it gave you a negative score," she replied. "They're not ones for anger. They like patience and precision, so that's what you've got to do. I can't even tell you how many times I wanted to lash out, but couldn't."
Addison grinned. "Yeah! Weapons are so overrated, anyways. Why not just... I don't know... strangle them?"
Adria quickly turned around before stepping out the back door. "No," she said firmly before leaving.
"Fine. I won't strangle my victims," she sighed. "I need to think of something. Maybe I should just punch them, but that would be painful. Nails, too... Oh, forget it. I'll carry a stupid dagger or something."
