personality • theodore, or preferably called theo, represents the classic males from the cry family; exuding the natural civility and the modest demeanor that most of the females in the family lack (genesis, georgina...). although he may look slightly intimidating regarding the gloominess besetting around him and his dark and despondent face, the dark-haired male is actually quite the contrary. he shielded his own demeanor from others' brash and rough attitude, still keeping and locking in his innate form of independence, shyness, and naïveté. theo is fairly gullible and naive and is a bit childish, he gets interested in small things that is well, uninteresting, and he feels proud if one is to ask him something that he knows of fluently and will try as hard as he can to teach them things that he is skilled of. he is also a constant victim of embarrassment, he would claim that he was being jocular if he is evidently wrong at something. theo is not entirely comfortable in the concept of killing, but will do so if necessary, and would kill quickly and painlessly. theo is quite a loner, choosing not to contribute to the team due to his paranoid nature to accidentally say something offensive to one of the members or disturbing them.
appearance • unlike many members of the cry family, theo doesn't have even a sliver of the signature ice blonde hair. he inherited this from his mother ( rosa javelynn cry (deceased) ) who married gemma's ( genesis' mother ) younger sibling, george cry. it was as if this family is much more diverse than the others, theo spent time outside in the crystal waters of four, thus, explaining his tanned skin, prominently darker when compared to the cry twins' vampiric skin tone. theo is of average height and has an athletic and well-built figure. the male's eyes are colored a glossy sapphire, gleaming and beautiful, the contrast of the azure orbs and his dark brown hair is bizarrely pleasing to look at.
history • theo seemed to suffer the same fate as gregory in his early years, always being pressured into doing what others' wanted him to do, falling for pranks his cousins made, and the constant absence of his parents' attention. this lead to theo thinking that to be happy, one must be independent, thus he changed his attitude to a more subdued, this demeanor is what we see in theo today, permanently sticking into his very core. when theo reached ten years of age, he departed from four, and ended up moving into district three with his parents.
a year after their absence in four, theo's mother, rosa, died in a mysterious shooting.
his mother's death only strengthened theo's independence, he would think that everybody deserved a second chance, thus, he would almost always act entirely politely to others, but this outstanding civility may never be able to cover theo's natural timidity and his easily embarrassed temperament.
theo soon became a notable 'hero' in district three after he volunteered for a thirteen year old male who was blind on his right eye, he was panicking and crying when he walked onto the stage and right at that moment, theo could see the true fear in his eyes and the most powerful feeling of sympathy for the boy, quickly raising his hand and saying the words 'i volunteer as tribute', theo disappeared from the crowd, reappearing once more on the stage, eyes deep with emotion.

strengths • theo is highly and inhumanely observant, being able to discover things that are even hidden with full expertise, yet, this could branch into other far means, such as observing his opponent's actions and reactions to things, determining their fighting style and their strength and weaknesses. theo is also more than capable of handling small weaponries, and his accuracy is impossibly great, being able to hit a moving target with just a single knife and/or dagger. he is also quite smart and is able to track down his target by observing the surroundings.
weaknesses • theo is too patient and too naive, he is often tricked continuously but had never learnt from his past experience. he also cares too much for others and is a bit of a paranoid. the tribute could also be pushed around easily, doing errands for other people to a point that he, himself, accepted his fate, claiming that it was "too late to change." theo is definitely not a runner, he doesnt harbour the most fundamental aspect of stamina in his body, thus, it is difficult for him to outrun others.
