Levi let out another cry when he felt his other arm being dug into, and he fell over once again. He was really running out of options here. He hadn't been this injured forever, even while fighting titans. He knew that going for the nape of The France's neck wouldn't be as affective as on titans. Finally, he just decided to frantically stab at The France's arm.

Max sat under a tree and yawned. She leaned back and put her hands behind her head, shutting her eyes in attempt to sleep. After several minutes of trying, with no luck, she eventually sat back up and grabbed a gun from her belt and began unloading and loading it periodically.

Nora sat in the branches of a tree, watching as the two fought. Silently, the stray jumped down, quickly walking towards them. "Borderline!" She shouted, as a shining line appeared between them, acting as a wall to separate the man, and the beast.

Eddie grappled with his own chest, startled by the fact that he was alive. He inhaled a breath of fresh air, the scent of death and rot absent, and stood up as straight as possible. His ailing brain was unequipped to handle such a drastic change, and it took him a while before he was in a full state of awareness. The first word from his mouth was, "D...Darling?", uttered at a low, unsteady volume. Obviously, whoever he was trying to address was not there, nor were they anywhere near his location. "What have you d-done to me? He sighed raggedly, vague contempt in his voice. He rubbed the back of his neck and lifted his head, still slightly nervous.
Reality was sinking its claws into him, which it had not done for many years. He was far away from Mount Massive, which was probably more good than bad all-in-all, but the outside world was a volatile place, and he hadn't been beyond the cruel walls of captivity in a long time. "Hmph. Serves you right." He muttered at the same unknown entity he had been dwelling on earlier. "Now I suppose I should find out where exactly I am, and why I'm here at the very least."

Ginger patted Mutt's head as she thought it over. "Nah, you're the first thing I've run into." She admitted. "But I suppose we could go look for someone else." Ginger wouldn't say it, but she was secretly hoping she'd at least run into something that she could identify. Though, she supposed, there probably wasn't anything weirder out there than what she'd seen back in the wasteland. Because this...this was definitely not a wasteland.

"Creepers?" Shiloh repeated thoughtfully. "I don't believe so. We have Nightstalkers, but those might be quite different." He concluded. He knew that different beasts roamed in different places, such as the Yao Guai that dominated the canyons and wooded lands further north. Vicious things, he'd heard, but they couldn't really be worse than deathclaws. He despised fighting deathclaws; the Legion trained most of their soldiers with close-combat weapons, and that was probably the literal worst way to attack a deathclaw.

Nick Valentine (ft. Dogmeat) || he/him || synth || tagged; nobody
Nick had been investigating missing persons since the very beginning of his career among humans. But this was the ultimate quandary: where was he? The adept detective Nick Valentine, at long last lost himself. He was lost in thought, adjusting the brim of his hat and thinking seriously to himself, when another shape came bounding up to him. It barked urgently, almost fearfully, and circled around his legs.
"Hmm? Say, you're that...odd fella with the missing son's dog, aren't you?" Nick asked, not expecting an answer. Dogmeat barked at him again, feet shifting restlessly. "I don't suppose we've got anything around that you could use to track his scent..." Nick muttered, leaning down to get closer to the dog's eye level. Dogmeat whimpered and nudged his head under Nick's good hand. After a moment, he bounded off a little, ears alert, and followd a phantom smell back to Nick.
Dogmeat whined louder, running in a few futile circles before sitting back on his haunches and emitting a loud, mournful howl. "Hey, don't worry, boy." Nick murmured affectionately, striding slowly over to where Dogmeat had sat himself down. "We're ace detectives, you and I. No better team in the wasteland, eh? I'm sure we'll find him." He chuckled, ruffling the dog's ears. Dogmeat panted and barked enthusiastically. Nick turned away and muttered, "If we ever find out where we are..." under his breath.
