A soft sigh escaped Sierra's pursed lips as the small group made their way through the darkening woods. The crunch of dead leaves under their shoes and twigs snapping seemed to be the only sounds heard for miles. The thick tree branches above keeping any moonlight from entering, four blurry sihlouettes were all she could make out of her friends anymore; and to make matters worse, she was sure no one had a clue where they were going. She hated feeling so vulnerable, not being able to see anything more than a few inches away; even that wasn't clear. Definitley not one of their best ideas.

Sel tried to pick her way through the trees, bumping into Sierra. "Sorry..." she hissed quietly. Then she bumped into a tree. "Owww...." she moaned. She felt her arm and felt warm and wet. "Just great..." she whispered to herself. "We go looking for Vampires and I have to run into a tree... Just great!" she repeated, slightly louder. She looked up and the tree branches and smiled. 'It's so pretty... the night.' she thought to herself. Then she looked around and started to get nervous. 'I hope we can find our way out... it'd be just like my mom to call the cops on me...' she thought, picking up to pace a bit to match Sierra's.

Briar skipped along at a merrily pace. Her long stride keeping up with the two girls. The soft crunch of leaves and hushed breath of air it the only thing to signify she was there. The night was beautiful, though dissapointing. Where were the vampires? Keeping sight of the two girls she contiuned on. Was she afraid? Not really. Briar loved the night, the hum of insects and the moon giving everything an eerie glow to it. The shadows themselves reaching out to you. The trees and their knarled branches grasping only air. It was wonderful. Snapping out of her daze she skipped on.

"Did you just run into a tree?" Sierra asked, trying to hide her amusment. She made sure not to try and look in Sel's direction knowing that she'd probably do the same if she tried to pick out which sihlouette was her. Squinting her emerald green eyes in an attempt to see through the darkness, she continued walking at a casual pace, carefully placing her steps to avoid tripping over anything. Out of all of the things they could've forgotten, it just had to be flashlights. "I'm starting to think this was a pretty stupid idea.." she murmured softly, a soft smile pulling at her lips, although she was sure no one could see it.

Running a hand through his mess of blonde hair, Justin walked through the dark forest; his steps surprisingly silent over the dead leaves that layered the forest floor. Tucking his hands deep away into the pockets of his jacket, he tilted his head to the side ever so slightly as he heard voices in the distance. Who'd be foolish enough to walk through the woods at this hour? Even if it wasn't for "monsters" like him who inhabited it, there were certainly other dangers that could be hidden away out here; so they were kind of asking for it. Making a note of the general direction he thought the voices to be coming from, he quickened his pace to a steady jog; heading back to inform the other four vampires on his find.

Alex quietly stood up at the sound of Justin coming back. He jumped to a low evergreen branch and sat there dangling his feet letting the gentle needles tickle his cold skin. "What's up?" Alex said as he saw Justian coming trough the trees.

Nick slid down a small hill gracefully and stopped as he saw a group of humans half a mile ahead. He breathed in and shook slightly as he smelt their warm blood. Nick let the breath out and ran towards Alex gliding over the stups and fallen logs.

Sel smiled. "Yeah... I pretty much cut my arm open too." she laughed. "I don't know why you guys wanted to bring me along anyway... I wouldn't have let you leave without me anyway though." she said, spinning in a circle. Sel pressed her hand to her arm and smelled her hand. She wrinkled her nose. "Ugh! My arm smells like dirty change." she hissed. She tried to make out the different silhouettes of everyone.

Kedall leapt up at the sight of Justin coming. He jogged over, a smile stretching across his face. "What's up?!" he asked, knowing something out of the ordinary was going on. His eyes were solid black, thirsty. They darted around, trying to see if he could see what Justin had found. He looked back at Justin's face, his lips pursed. He waited anxiously for the news.
