Collision of Worlds (Stargate, Star Wars and Anything else!)

"Oh, I forgot..." The Protector murmered then looked at Jay "They look like robots, but they aren't. They are living beings, inside a metal case. They used to be a race of aliens with emotions, they were known as Kaleds, but during their war with another race, called the Thals, their top scientist, Davros was looking for way to improve his race. So he started to take the DNA of Kaleds, and change it, he grew it and eventually created a Dalek. Which as I'm sure you can work out is an anagram of Kaled. A Dalek is a mutated, hideous creature, they feel no emotion, only hate. Their sole purpose; to destroy every living thing until they are the only ones to exist. They are the race that killed my people."

Jay coughed, "No offense, but what are your people?"

"My people were known as the Time Lords or Time Ladies, depending on gender. We were also known as Chronarchs, our home planet was called Gallifrey, it is now destroyed..." The Protector trailed off, sadness filled her eyes.

Jay coughed loudly, opening his mouth wide. "Okay. What do you suggest?"

"Well it's obviously something in the air, quite possible it from another reality. I may have to give you a shot." The Protector said.

NO! Jay thought, but, after all, it was either this or he would cough for the rest of his life. And die. Slowly and painfully. "Okay." he coughed.

(Oh God. I really need a different word than "cough". I think I've used it a million times already.)

"That makes a lot of sense." he choked down the air, "Since my immune system is way different than a normal person, I'm reacting to something which you others are immune to." he sighed, surprised that he didn't cough, "I have no idea what stuff I have inside of me..."
