Alien Encounters-Accepting!

Ceme watched Riya as he walked behind her. She was so pretty. He wished that he could chase these feelings away. She would never like him. He was Alien to her. He'd eaten human a few times. He was seven feet tall. His skin was blue. It was pointless to even like her. He tried not to sigh.

Riya reached the bottom of the stairs and stared at the puddle of water. She couldn't leave it there Raahy was bound to come by soon, notice and demand as to why the floor was wet. Not wanting to leave it there any longer she reluctantly pulled off one of her socks and started to mop up the water. It was so thick it was able to absorb the water easily.

"Uh, you know we could use a towel, right?" Ceme asked, stiffeling(sp) a chuckle.

Riya looked back at Ceme "I don't want to leave this here any longer. Getting a towel would take time."

Ceme smiled and turned. He ran up the stairs, ducked into his room, grabbed the barely damp towel he'd used to dry his hair which he'd left lying on the floor, and ran back down the stairs. Breathing heavy, he handed her the towel.

Riya took the towel "Thanks." She then started to mop up the rest of the water. When she was finished, the towel was soaking and the sock was about half as wet. Sighing she took them both upstairs. After hanging the towel up in her room, she gave her sock a quick dry, put it back on then headed back downstairs.

Ceme smiled as she returned. "Hi," He said softly.

Riya smilied "Hi." Her foot was now feeling horrible due to the damp sock, but she didn't say anything, like she'd said nothing about her shirt that was getting increasingly wet due to her hair.

"I'm really sorry that I got you all wet," Ceme apologized again.

"No it's fine. I've had to work in storms before, it really was nothing." Riya smilied and looked at a clock but of course couldn't read it "What's the time?"
