Oregon turned her head, looking around the cave. She was unfazed by the cut and blood. She actually seemed a little bored.

Check nodded proudly. "It'd take a lot to break this work horse...!" He declared. He patted Ruby on the head. "And you're basically indestructible."

Maria suddenly pulled away, placing her scalpel down and took a step away from Oregon. She then removed her helmet and placed it to the side then placing a surgical mask on and turning back to Oregon. "Why are you so bored?" she asked as she tied her long curls back.

"No heartbeat, no eye but I still keep kicking" Ruby replied, laughing in amusement and lightly kicking his legs before settling back down.

"I was figuring things'd be more intense. No offense, but you and Ruby aren't usually the Care Bear types, so I was expecting something else." Oregon shrugged.

Checksnorted as he cackled and covered his mouth, embarrassed. "True. You're like that scary dinosaur from Jurassic World...!"

"Well I'm just starting, besides. I wouldn't be too rough with you anyway, I like you." Maria told her then without hesitation moved to take the armor off her arm.

Ruby chuckled and grabbed Check's arm, playfully biting him but not hard enough to leave a mark. Then pulling away and smiling widely.

"Alright, fair enough." Oregon said aloud, thinking for a moment. "Why do you like me?" She asked.

Check peeped and looked at his arm, wiping it off and rolling his eyes. "Silly." He said and poked Ruby's nose.

I look over at Felix, as if saying it was up to him. "Before we do anything else, though, have you seen Locus?" Ew. That name in my mouth makes me wanna throw up.

"You're interesting." Maria answered plainly, rolling up the bodysuit once she removed the armor "You don't pretend to be nice, well not to the extent others do. We know people don't like us."

Ruby giggled and fell back in a dramatic way "Oh no. You killed me!" he called out before closing his eyes and holding his breath.

"Haven't seen him but I was looking for him." Felix said with a shrug "He's at red base right now. Do you think we could swing by and see him real quick?"

Check gasped. He took a while to shift and lean over Ruby slowly, his side still hurting a bit. "Maybe a kiss would bring him back." He hummed before kissing Ruby gently.
