"Prehaps. I am yet to discover." Ashley said plainly, starting to walk back up the stairs, upon reaching the second floor she hesitated, looking up the second flight.

Lucian continued writing. The second floor was a longer hallway with a door at the end, along the walls were paintings. The stairs were plain dark wood and went along with the dark colored walls and contrasted with the bright lighting, though the hall light was off. The second flight of stairs were the same dark wood and had a slightly old designed banister.

Ashley placed her hand on the banister. She shook her head as she walked up the stairs, her feet making small taps as they reached the wooden surface. As she reached the third floor she looked around, taking a step toward the closest room.

The third floor was an attic room, it had a main area as soon as you reached the top, then it had a room on either side.

Walking up to the wooden door of the left room, Ashley sighed. She slowly twisted the handle and pushed the door open, lookign around before closign the door behind her.

The room was fairly spacious, there was a small desk in the corner that looked fairly ornate. The bed was the largest feature, it was a large, four poster canopy bed that looked like it was from the medieval times, it fit in with the rest of the house, it was draped with green and gold velvet like fabric. At the end of the bed was a large chest, there was also a wardrobe and a door in the back that lead to a full bathroom.

(OMG! Would you mind slowing down? Vampirerose, me and Invader Kou haven't posted in 5+ pages PS: I don't really care, but please don't do it to often. Oh and i'm currently coming up with a idea, for how the Vampires are ruled, there is a council of the eldest Ancients and Pure Borns, and they rule over the other Vampire. Can Lucian be a council member? Since he is so old, and he is a pure born?)

Ashley was amazed. She stared around the room in awe. A small smile rose to her lips though she managed to look depressed through it. She shook her head and walked around, over to the desk first, runnign her hand along the wood. She then moved over to the bed, taking a seat on it before laying back, comfortable.

The desk did have paper and some pens, surprisingly enough. The bed was soft and filled with down, it was apparent that Lucian was very old fashioned for the most part.

Ashley then stood up slowly, although she did not want to get off the bed. She then wandered to the cupboared, admiring it briefely before walking to her window. Three stories up and Ashley had barely any chance of surviving if she jumped.
