"come on then" he said walking off towards the forest.

Moonstone stomps on a branch that had tried to snare around his shield, glaring at the shrubs. "I know it doesn't. But don't worry."

Sunstone nodded, standing funny behind Monnstone now.

Pearl gripped her sword until her knuckles turned white. She kept murmuring something about tress and monsters as she followed Pyrite, worried about the two gems.

"If you feel something touching your foot, tell me or stomp as hard as you can." Moonstone mumbles, slamming his shield down on some more branches.

Sunstone nodded as she stepped on another branch, fear not leaving her eyes. She kept muttering to herself, trying not to lose it.

Pyrite made sure pearl was following as he sliced at one of the branches. It grew back almost instantly. "We're gonna have to be quick" he said turning his head slightly.

Moonstone freezes up as one wraps around his leg, slamming down on the root with his shield, watching it drop to the floor.

Sunstone let out a small Yelp as one tangled itself around her arm. She swung at it with her hand as she watched it drop to the ground. She shivered, staying by Moonstone.

"I know," Pearl whispered. Instead, she crawled up the tree and swung herself up to the other side. "It's a good tree, you can tell by the leaves," she whispered, pointing.

"I don't think we can do it -" Moonstone says, there was only a small space between them and the branches now.
