Turquoise still felt a bit hurt. "O-Okay," she stammered, soon becoming afraid to talk again. This is why she was shy, people just never talked to her in the first place.

Opal scented something, it smelled good. Maybe it was the stuff they called "food"

Turquoise looked back at the girl before sitting in the grass, staring at the trees. Maybe she should just go home.... There was no use for her here.

Turquoise brung her knees to her chest, wrapping her arms around them, rocking back in forth like a ball.
