Stone The Crows
A Mortal Instruments Roleplay
Recap
The first roleplay ended with Magdalena being abandoned by her adoptive father, The Inquisitor, and then her fleeing in sorrow, leaving the thought-to-be-dead Charlie lying alone in the institute. Charlie then proves that he is not as dead as it is first thought. The scene ends with Charlie leaving to start a new life and Magdalena crying to herself.
It was over.
And yet it had only just begun.
And yet it had only just begun.
Intro
Do you not think that snow is a funny thing? It swirls and eddies like something alive. It is beautiful and magical. Yet it holds a power of its own that no one speaks of. It is strong and mystical and dangerous. It's frosty jaws are enough to freeze and kill. Enough to take away everything you have ever fought for.
A figure sat huddled in a dark doorway, a hood pulled up over his head in an attempt to keep the little heat he had to himself. His breath misted before him, the water droplets freezing almost instantly and disappearing amongst the flurries of snow that fell - covering the tracks he had left just hours ago.
The soft sound of footsteps in the snow caused him to look up, and his hood fell back slightly. Revealing a gaunt face, eyes sunken into his sockets and dulled from the cold and lack of food. His hair was matted and hung limp and loose around his head. It was obvious that at some point it had been a striking Raven-black, but not it was greyish and dirty. Like oil in the sea. Unable to see the person who had made the footsteps, he looked back down, staring bleary eyed at the black symbol on the back of his palm. The symbol that had faded, but had not gone away. The symbol that was still somehow giving him hope that his parabatai was still out there. Somewhere.
Charlie was alive. Reiven knew it.
He just didn't have the strength left to face it.
