"Up to you" I mouthed to Esme. She was the one Gold seemed to think was a part of this. But how could Esme know anything about the location of this salt pendant? I really didn't know.

Esme blushed nervously before speaking. "W-When you two left, Gold told Henry and I that 'the pendent is closer than you think' and he was looking at me. I don't know what he means, though"

Killian raised an eyebrow at this but kept quiet.

I tilted my head a little at this, "You got a pendant on you, kid?" I asked her curiously, "or do you know where one is?". Gold had to have meant something by looking at her. Wether she had the pendant, or she knew where it was Or even if she was the key to finding it.

Esme shook her head. "No, i have never heard of it"

I frowned at that. I was really hoping she'd know something. "Oh well, guess we should try tracking it down then." I said. I was about to talk again when Henry took off running. I was surprised by that until I saw him chasing a page blowing in the breeze. It looked like another one from the book.

Esme quickly hurried after him, and when she did, she reached for the page but missed.

I needed to grab that page. I wasn't sure why, but something compelled me to. It lodged in a tree so I quickly scaled it and grabbed it. "Got it!" I called down. I slowly clambered down from the tree and dashed back to Esme. "Look." I murmured. There was a picture of a baby in a basket, just like the picture of my mom in the book, but with subtle differences. There was a pendant laying on the ground next to the basket.

Esme looked at the pendent for a moment, a memory of it flashed in her head. "That pendent does look familiar" Esme muttered.

"Isn't that me?" I asked Henry. He shook his head, "No, the picture of you is slightly different, mom." He told me. How odd... I touched the page lightly and my fingers went straight through, but the page didn't break. My hand was inside the picture. "What's going on?" I asked, yanking my hand back away from it.

"A portal, perhaps?" Killian suggested.


Esme looked at the picture carefully and in the corner of the page she saw a hook. She flashed her eyes for a moment at Killian's, then back to the image. It was his.
