The ambulance came and then took Emma into the car.

I wasn't sure how much time passed in my unconscious state, but when I eventually opened my eyes I was in a hospital bed with a beeping monitor. "Wh-what's going on?" I asked slowly. The nurse looked over at me and went white as a sheet. "Ah, Miss... y-you've woken up." She stammered. She looked terrified of me. "Y-You're a medical anomaly miss. Your blood is pumpkin' but we can't find ya heart.". I cringed, I knew that would happen. I tried to sit up and I groaned at the pain in my chest, noticing it was tightly bandaged. "We 'ad to stitch ya up good. Deep wound." She murmured.

Esme fell asleep by now in the waiting room, she was tired of waiting and feeling bad for Killian because he was probably getting selfied now on the streets of New York.

"Listen, there's a little girl outside. I'll go get 'er." The nurse said as she strutted out of the room. I waited a few minutes as I heard her talking to someone and saying It was 'okay to go in an see 'er'. She was such a strange nurse.

Esme woke up when the nurse came. "Oh, thanks" Esme got up and walked into Enmas room. "How are you feeling?" She asked gently.
