Topaz made a small mental not of the other gem, she leaped into the back and kept attacking it.

"um hi" sapphire said walking towards them smiling, happy that she could hang out with some gems today.

Jade

She once again launched toward the creature once she had caught her breath, slashing and hitting. The giant creature had slowed considerably from all the damage it had taken from the continuous onslaught of gems, and her spear was able to cut through its scales again and again, though the more it weakened the angrier it became the the more wild and unpredictable it's movements evolved.

Aventurine continued to slash at the monster, now kicking and punching at it with her free limbs in order to deal more damage. It was certainly weakening, but it seemed to get angrier and angrier...she sure was glad she had help from the other gems.

Jade

Jade swam up to the creatures head quickly, spear poised. The serpent roared and snapped its jaws angrily, one eye already tightly closed and leaking light. She dodged its fangs and slashed at its teeth, slowly rising above its jaws before thrusting her spear downwards with a cry, plunging the weapon into it's eye. It let out a blood-curdling scream, writhing and contorting in the water, silt stirring around it as it tried to fight.

Personality: She's brash and blunt and forward, and doesn't take crap from others. She enjoys a good fight and pretty much takes out her weapon whenever the slightest opportunity arises. She also enjoys shape shifting and does it rather often.

History: She was one of the daughters of the kindergarten, though was in one of the first waves to escape the place after it had been destroyed. She went out and broke off from the other straggling gems and traveled around for quite a while before finding that she liked the ocean quite a bit, and stayed on a path along it. She eventually found Beach City and set up shop there, and lives in one of the many alcoves that crop out from the large cliff on the far side of the city, where she has a nice view of the sunset.

Aventurine watched as the gem with the spear stabbed the creature's eye. That's sure to finish it, she thought to herself, still absent mindedly stabbing and kicking.

topaz stabbed her sword into the creatures back, but it didn't poof. She grumbled and trued to pull her sword out.

Pink Tourmaline recovered herself from a few feet away i the sand. She leapt, or al least something like that, you cant really leap under water, at the monster. "Eat metal you clod!" She yelled at it, scoring a hit across its face. It screeched, but didn't poof. "Aw come on!" She exlaimed

Aventurine was growing frustrated. She kept stabbing, but it just wouldn't poof! What was she doing wrong? She refused to give up now, and stabbed with a newly found anger.
