Zane nodded, "let us get there quick."

Luna looked to Jay and Stella fearfully. She hugged Jay tighter. "I don't like any of this. I don't like this place. So much bad things have happened now. It used to be nice...!"

"You don't have any blades." Apollo studied Kendal for a moment. "Where's the fun in that?" he snorted. "Oh well. A soul's a soul. My passage to shedding this.. Horrible body." Kinra spat.

Kendal snarled. "I don't need blades to kick you to the street!" He slammed forward, throwing Apollo out a window and diving after him. "We settle this right now!!"

Jay yelped. "I know I don't like it either!"

"Daddy, someone has to stop them. They're gonna hurt each other and neither of them are in good enough shape!" Luna yelped.

"They'll exhaust themselves sooner than anything. Apollo has little charge and Kendal's rage will burn off. He won't have the will to fight and Apollo will be face down in the dirt. Kinra would be crazy to push Apollo to fight on reserves or energy failure when she knows he won't be fast enough to strike Kendal down." Jay got up, rushing outside.

Kinra laughed as she lifted the blades. "I can already feel your will dwindling. Feels nice, doesn't it. Questioning yourself? Questioning whether or not things will go back to how they where? Oh trust me, I made sure everyone sees you as a mess up. You're the first of your hybrid build. A test that you failed." She spat. She knew just how to break a man. "Don't worry. It will all be over soon. You'll find that fueling my reoccurance will serve as redemption. As long as you don't fail me too, in which I'll kill one of your..." She glanced toward the house. "I can't say friends.. No, what's the word.. Superiors.. Yes.." she started laughing. "God I can see it in your eyes. You believe every word I say."

Kendal shook his head, hissing. "No! None of that is true! I don't believe a word of it! You're just trying to get into my head!!" He hissed.

"Oh? Intelligent, are we? Fifty points to Griffindor." Kinra cackled. "But truly. You see you won't win. Just open your arms and let me finish this, or we can do this the hard way. Every last piece of you being scattered across this grass like a watermelon blown up by a firecracker." She smirked as she folded her arms.

"It will never be that easy to strike me down, even when I'm on my last legs of warranty!" Kendal yelled as he thundered forward.

Stella rushed after Jay but paused and turned to look at Luna. "you need to get your sister and stay inside. Stay safe... Got it?"

Luna nodded slightly as she watched them rush outside. "Ok..."

Kendal's eyes widened as Rime swept over, plucking both he and Apollo and spiralling into the sky.
"The hard way.. You chose it." Kinra laughed from the saddle. Rime seemed to snort in amusement too. The dragon and Apollo had built a close tie, and now the ice dragon was just as broken and twisted. Kendal looked up at Kinra, whom of which waved.
"Thank you." She laughed. He screeched as Rime hurled him higher into the sky before circling away boredly. The dragon wouldn't be catching him.
And no other dragon was around.

Kendal braced himself for the impact that never came. A talon hooked around his abdomen at the last moment, pulling him out of the drop.
"I got Popeyes biscuits." A familiar voice hummed.

Pixal stared up at the sky, her circuits draining of color when she saw Kendal plummet. "KENDAL!!" She nearly passed out at the blinding flash of chrome as a mechanical dragon bolted out, catching the droid. "Who... CHROME?!" She stumbled backwards, overwhelmed.

"Oh my stars... Wait did he just say he's got biscuits?" Jay paused.

Chrome circled around, landing with a soft mechanical thud as his wings folded to his sides. He set Kendal down. "Cyrus saw how bored and lonely I was getting. Figured I would be more useful like this." He explained, glancing back. "We won't be seeing Apollo or that ice beast again. I think they are high tailing it to the shadow side."

Zane rushed out and watched fearfully as Kendal was dropped, "Kendal!!" He paused and relaxed as Chrome caught him. "Just in time... Thank you Chrome."

Luna went to go find Aisling in the building

Jay ran back into the monastery. "guys Chrome brought Popeyes!!" He blurted, laughing.

"Chicken?" Emerald leaned out the kitchen.

"And biscuits." Jay nodded.

"I thought vehicles aren't allowed here?" Cambria asked.

Pixal ran out, sweeping the still stunned Kendal into a hug. "Oh my god.."

Chrome giggles. "Chicken?"

Luna rushed over, "What? What happened? Is Kendal alright?!"

"What's Chrome doing here?" Sapphire asked.

Zane rushed over to Kendal, "Are you alright?"

Kendal nodded. "Yeah.. I-I'm fine.."

Jay shook his head. "No clue why, but he showed just at the right time." he looked at Luna. "Kendal's perfectly fine thanks to Chrome. 10 feet from hitting the ground and Chrome blasted in."

Chrome reached back, pulling out a basket with a few tubs of chicken and biscuits. "So what's good?"
