[Prince Endymion]

"Dad, that makes me dizzy and sick! I like actually using the swing right!" Aisling grinned.

Luna burst out laughing, "You like using the swing right!! Know what I like to do? Swing side to side... It's fun!"

"What's going on? Why are we talking about swings?" Sapphire asked.

Zane nodded slightly, "Animals, all animals, are very interesting... I wonder why the play fight though."

[kia.]

Cole giggled. "Try spinning them around a bunch, then have someone push you before you start spinning. Now that. That isn't a bad time at all."

Jay laughed. "I remember when I kicked you while I was doing that." he looked at Stella. "We gonna go to the park after this."

"Primal instinct." Cambria said. "Play fighting when they are pups carries on as they age. It teaches them how to fight and get their strength up at an early age. Like wolves, the pups play fight to strengthen themselves and also prove dominance at an early age." She looked at the dogs. "Now it's just to play." She shrugged. She watched as Mochi bounced over, hurling up into the counter beside the owl. The cat curiously sniffed at the winged animal, tilting her head and patting the large bird. The owl sat there, not seeming to mind the cat's presence.

Stella looked over, "Sounds good! They're done by the way. Go sit or something."

"Food! Come on Uncle Cole! Let's get food!!" Aisling cried out.

Zane nodded slightly, "Oh yes... That is right."

(My breathing feels weird.. Dunno why.)

[kia.]

Mochi sat beside the owl, purring as she watched the dogs wrestle. The owl looked at her, curiously tilting it's head.

Cole laughed. "Woo! Food!"

(I thought I replied to this!! I'm so sorry!!)

Aisling grinned, "Yus food!!"

"Seems like Mochi does not mind the owl." Zane chuckled.

[kia.]

Mochi glanced back at the slightly smaller bird, her tail flickering to lay over it's back like a fluffy shoulder cover. The owl jumped slightly at this, shuffling away and shifting it's wings at it's side.

"Hm." Cambria shrugged.

Pixal glanced up, hearing laughter from down the hall. It was clear, the lower, more bass like laugh was Kendal. The other, more of a tenor note, seemed to be Apollo's. She smiled. "I haven't got a clue how Kendal gets someone laughing, even at their lowest."

Cambria looked at her mother. "You truly don't? He is like.. the type of guy everyone should follow. I don't know how he does it, but sometimes when I'm depressed he could have me on the floor laughing to the point of crying easily. Whatever line of coding makes it so he is able to do that with literally everyone, I want to have it."

"Play it again!" Apollo giggled. Kendal rewinded the video, and this time, the pair laughed even harder.
"Let's do the fork in the garbage disposal! Ding ding ding!" Kendal covered his face as he fell off the foot of the bed, gasping for air. "Where do people get this!?"

Cole walked over to the kitchen table, setting Ash down in one. "By the way, thank you, Stella." He smiled as he looked back at her.

Stella brought out the pancakes and smiled at Cole, "No problem!" She said, winking at him.

"Sit down!" Aisling yelped, looking at Cole.

"You're pretty popular with Aisling." Stella laughed. "Careful... She's a bit of a prankster at times."

Zane looked up hearing Kendal and Apollo laughing. He smiled slightly. "It is a good skill, I would say. He makes himself someone others would want to stick around."

[kia.]

"But he's a total jerk at school! He hangs out with the jocks and the guys that are involved in horrible things, yet he can make the people that absolutely despise him laugh and... maybe even want to be around him!" Cambria cried as she stood up, slamming her hands down on the table. "I don't understand him at all! He runs with the crowd that is most hated at school, yet... he seems to be welcome to any clique that he wishes to hang out with. There are people that would love to see him in pieces, but somehow he can make those people laugh and literally fight to be by his side for projects." She frowned, shaking her head. "I don't get him at all!"

"Coding can hold it's secrets, Cambria. There is an assortment of coding put into us all that are mainly fillers that help balance out everything. We would never truly know why this is unless we deciphered every last line of his coding, which.. could never be accomplished." Pixal shook her head. "Why is it such a big deal to you? You seem to be able to do the exact same thing."

"But... I don't really have enemies at school. My enemies are his friends and the guys within the crowd he rolls with, and even they don't.. hate me. Kendal wouldn't tolerate if his friends and I were having a silent war." Cambria shook her head. "I.. Don't have the same effect on people. I.. I just can't comprehend my capabilities then compare them to his and thing myself higher."

"You do know that this shouldn't have anything to do with superiority?" Pixal frowned slightly. "You shouldn't constantly be worried that you are 'better' than your brothers. You truly couldn't do that unless you all went on the same pathways, to the same exact jobs with the same exact traits and such. Otherwise, comparing yourself to someone is pointless. Yeah, I could say that I hold a bit of venom toward my brother Spencer, but what's the point? I used to hold his job, and now I'm here, married and raising kids. In my opinion, what could be better than this? What could be better than what I have now? Why waste your time trying to top someone than supporting them and those around you?"

"I can think of a list of things you'd want besides this." Cambria folded her arms.

"Want, Cambria. Not need." Pixal shook her head.

"You wanted a family. You didn't need one. You wanted a different job. You didn't need one." Cambria snorted. "I'm sure you'd want a billion other things than to be standing here right now arguing with your daughter. I'm sure you'd love to be on a cruise ship somewhere with the man of your dreams, not a care in the world, not worrying about whether or not you'd have money, or whether or not one of your kids is gonna do something stupid and get hurt.. I'm sure you'd just love to have all that, hm?"

"Cambria.." Pixal looked at her, a slight grin across her face. "I do have the man of my dreams, right here.." She glanced back at Zane. "And where's the fun in life if I don't need to be running around making sure you all stay in one piece? I pursued what I wanted, what I needed from life, and I have it all right here. An amazing family, and a simple, cozy life. Yes, some of those fancier things could be nice, but where is the excitement in life after you get them? Sure, you may need to fight a bit to keep it, but truly? Look at Kendal, he works and puts his heart into his music to keep Chrome running in the best condition. I think what would help you understand things better is if you had something to work for. If you had something you had to fight to get true ownership of."

Cole laughed. "Oh trust me. If it's legos, then I'm used to it. Emerald was a bit of a troublemaker. My feet look like I'd walked through razor blades." he shook his head, sitting down. "Now it's mainly me telling him to pick up his clothes."

[Prince Endymion]

Stella laughed, "Yes Legos... Also 'accidentally' dumping water on you.. Other things, mostly harmless."

Zane smiled at Pixal, then looked to Cambria, "Your mother is right. The both of us pursued what we wanted. And this is what we have gotten. Perhaps you need to find some sort of goal, something to work for. It may help you."

[kia.]

Cambria slumped back in the chair with a huff. "School is in the way. Bleh.. I just wanna be older already."

"Being an adult is no walk in park either." Pixal shook her head.

"That's the point! We gotta ask you guys before we can go and walk in the park." Cambria shook her head. "By the way.." She pointed up at a paper taped to the ceiling. "Since you haven't noticed it."

Pixal walked over, reading the top of the paper. "Kendal!!" She yelled.

"Yeah?" Kendal called back.

"Why is your report card on the ceiling?!" Pixal asked.

"You said to bring my grades up.." Kendal replied.

Pixal paused, glancing back at the paper. "..I did say that.. Lemme get a look at those.."

Cole laughed. "Mostly harmless. The legos kill you though."
