The officer gave a short pause before chuckling. "You faced this well.. For the most part.."

The door swung open, and people fled in.

"Luna!" Jay gasped.

Luna yelped slightly, looking over at the door, "Daddy! I'm alright!"

Zane quickly made his way into the room and rushed over to where Kendal was, "Kendal! What happened?"

Jay hugged Luna - carefully. He didn't know where her wound was and didn't want to aggravate it.

Platinum ran over, gasping. He wished he could hug his brother, but he didn't feel it was appropriate at the time. "Bro!"

Cambria stood at the door, looking between Luna and Kendal. She felt uncomfortable, knowing no one trusted her any more.

Pixal stared at Kendal, her circuits draining of color. It sickened her, seeing him in such a state.

Luna smiled, hugging Jay tightly, "It's ok. I was shot in my leg... Not like that helped me any though."

Zane looked at Kendal concerned. He looked over at Pixal, "He will be alright..."

"I'll be fine.. I just hate that some other hospital mechanic will be working on me." Kendal muttered. "I'd get things done sooner if I fixed myself."

Platinum blinked. "Wait.. What.. What's that?" He asked as he pointed to a silver plate along his spine piece.

Kendal paused. "Oh, that. It's the hydrolics piece that allows movement and give a bit more stability." he chuckles.

Pixal remained frozen, her eyes wide and filled with fear.

Jay nodded. "Are you okay? Will you be okay?"

Luna nodded slightly, "I think so... I feel better now... I'm more concerned for Kendal."

Zane nodded, "I am sure the mechanics here will fix you just fine Kendal." He looked to Pixal, "Are you alright?"

Jay glanced back at Kendal, wincing. "Two pieces and somehow alive.." He glanced down, noticing the ring on her hand. "Wait.. Luna.. Is there something you haven't told us?"

The sight sent shivers down Pixal's back. Years back, when she was still single, she'd seent he first of her build in a similar state... Accept he wasnt alive. The first build was rusted inside and out, and had been thrown about and had worked to death. She looked away, covering her face. Her first build and Kendal had too many similarities. He couldn't help but think and see Kendal in the terrible state her oldest brother had once been in.

Luna blinked, "huh? About what?" She looked down at her hand then grinned, "Oh!! I've wanted to tell you this. I've been meaning to. But, once again, it's really recent and things got in the way..."

Zane walked over to Pixal, "Pixal... Is there something I can do? You do not seem alright..."

Jay raised an eyebrow questionably. "And that is..?"

Pixal shook her head. "I'll be fine.. Previous memories are coming back to haunt me."

Platinum nodded. "Do you mind if I..." he gestured, asking to open Kendal's chest panel.

Kendal laughed. "Go ahead. And ask any questions you like."

Platinum clicked open Kendal's chest panel, peering inside. What hadn't been damaged worked perfectly fine, but where rips and snaps happened, the systems ceased to operate. "What's this?" He tapped a small silver box that was behind and slightly below Kendal's core.

"That titanium box cases my mother board, and some other important pieces to ensure smooth operations." Kendal grinned.

"And I would assume the chip insert below it is for the memory chip?" Platinum asked.

"Indeed."

"Why is it empty?"

"It Isn't. The chip is just in further."

Luna grinned, looking at Jay, "Well... Kendal and I are engaged now!" She said, chuckling nervously.

Zane frowned softly, "Are you sure you are alright?"
