Sable swiftly glanced up at him when he had taken a step forward right as she took a step back. There was a perplexed expression masking over her face as she slightly raised an eyebrow. She was trying to get a read on him. To try and understand the intentions that he might have so that she would be able to predict any other movements. Some people were easy to read. Some were near impossible to read. He would fall underneath the category of one of the unreadable kind of people. She tensed when he suddenly tossed the sidearm off to the side. The motion of the sidearm being flung to the side and the clattering sound of the sidearm made her briefly look away from him to see where it had landed.Last time she could recall someone ever doing that was after a match in the Trials of Osiris. One of the members of the opposing team was infuriated by the loss.Needless to say, they discovered why kerosene was one of the few nicknames that was pinned onto her. She snapped her gaze back onto him when she had felt him take her hand. Her breath caught in her throat from out of surprise."What are you-" she was beginning to ask, but he answered the question with a motion rather than words. She blinked her eyes a few times in a rapid manner as she was being pulled into a hug. Instantly she felt her cheeks warm up, and no doubt, her cheeks were also a shade darker than usual. The equivalent of a human blushing. She gently wrapped an arm around his waist, and had kept it there while she listened to what he had said. He was afraid that she would have been lost. She rested her head lightly on his chest, but she did not speak at that moment. It was because of them that she was standing here this day.Without them, she would have been long gone. Dead or something even worse than death itself. They gave her the strength to keep on fighting when others would have caved in.She lifted her head from off of his chest when she heard his Ghost speak. She slowly released him by moving her arm away from his waist. She heard some scuffling from behind her which she assumed were the security guards getting up.She heard their hurried footsteps as they booked it from out of the embassy hall. They had been afraid. But would they tell anybody about the incident? No.Not at all.Whatever happened within these walls, were to never be spoken about. She knew that there was a lot that had to be done. Oryx. Then, there was this person that apparently was behind a much greater scheme and used Ethel as some sort of distraction. She remembered when times seemed much more simpler. That all you had to worry about was completing strike missions and bounties, or risk the chance of being barked at by your superiors. It wasn't just all black and white anymore. There were grays too. But even though she was a soldier of Light, sometimes, she just wanted to be just like any other regular person too. She had fought for so long in this war, she had forgotten how it felt to be more....normal.

The Guardian had been standing in the outside of the embassy hall with their full gear on. They remained standing where they were, while someone seemed to have been speaking to them through a communication channel."Ethel played her part. She was just a merc. Disposable. Impossible to retrieve with the Tower's hands clutching her." the voice through the communication channel spoke to the guardian. They simply nodded their head once, while they were beginning to turn away to head out of the Awoken compound."You have done your part.I applaud you.Your reward awaits for you in the ruins of Old Russia" the voice concluded, before cutting completely out. The Guardian briefly looked over their shoulder once more in the embassy hall, right as they heard one of the doors off to the side swing open. There was a small curve of a smile that formed as they witnessed two security guards in a misshapen condition scurry from out of the building like if the devil himself was on their heels.Hmm.What was all that about? Perhaps, something that could be proven useful.Something that could be used against the team. Without another second wasted, the Guardian had vanished to be brought back onto their personal ship. Now that was done, it was the second part of the plan that they would have to follow through.
