Ileana~
She smiled slightly, tucking the rest of her food in her mouth and moving to set the empty dishes in the sink. "Getting ready will take some convincing from my ghost. Last night she wanted me dead, I'm sure she's not happy with me today." she started to clean up the counter from the mess she'd made dismantling the tablet. "I do have a bounty to turn in to the Vanguard today. Remember our little competition on the Dreadnaught? When the raid team took down Oryx? I never turned it in. Perhaps when we return from Venus would be a good time. Get everything done at one time." she sighed, walking a little away from Carmela. "Ghost, if you would."
The ghost appeared wordlessly, silent optic gazing past Ileana to Carmela.
"I'd appreciate it if you would get my armor for me. Heading to Venus with Carmela."
"And you're going to behave?"
"Your lack of faith is annoying but none to surprising. Don't worry, Carmela has all the strength to strangle me if I step out of line. I'm in dangerous hands," Ileana smiled. To her Carmela's prowess was extremely attractive, as well as her willingness to lie to Ileana in order to keep her safe. Love was pain. You don't understand love. Her mouth twitched slightly.
"If you step out of line, I'll remove your helmet myself." Ghost said. Venus has a mostly breathable atmosphere still. The traveler's terraforming had done wonders. Mars was possibly worse off. Ileana understood what the ghost was saying, though. Without another word, the ghost disappeared and Ileana's armor weighed heavily on her body, the metal parts pulling on muscles that tensed in response to keep her upright. The ghost wasn't as kind with the weaponry. Nirwen's Mercy dropped out of the air in front of Ileana, nearly smacking into the floor. A gloved hand caught it, securing it to her thigh, before nabbing her fusion rifle in her other hand. Shaking her head Ileana turned to face Carmela. "Well, I suppose I'm all ready. I'd take my heavy but that tends to ruin all the fun. Don't worry, it'll be on whichever ship we take just in case we come across something like a fallen walker.
Carlisle~
"Aten, yes, zat is right, you did tell me. Forgive me, my memory is not what it used to be. I may ask for your name a few more times if we continue zis interaction. You understand. Well, you probably don't, but that doesn't make a difference." He clasped his hands behind his back, leaning towards her a bit as if she were something to be gawked at in a museum. She certainly reacted to things in a manner he wouldn't have expected. Not interesting, but different. "Do not worry about me attacking you, li'ddle Titan. I am harmless when unprovoked or unordered. Call me a mercenary, call me madman, call me a child or call me a fool. I talk a lot, yes, but in zis moment zat is the most sreatening aspect of my personality. Not zat I still care, believe me, I don't," his voice was suddenly bored on the last two words, dropping his chipper attitude. His face hardened with seriousness for a few short moments before his shoulders rose up again and his smile returned. "Why are you still here? Do you require assistance on a mission? Funny stalker boy bosering you? You've got the face for zat. Or is it curiosity? Curiosity is a powerful thing. I've met few Titan's who are capable of using that part of zeir brain." Nothing he said was intended to be an insult or a compliment, and he made sure that his french accent didn't accidentally put inflections in the wrong places to misguide the Titan. He had no interest in anything but where the glimmer flowed from.
