((Hey, don't worry about it.^_^))
Nadia remained standing near the side of the table when Feron got up to stand. She couldn't help but smile hearing the tiny noise that came from out of him."You have most certainly outdone yourself today then." she told him with a subtle raise of an eyebrow. He conquered the stack of pancakes, but it was going to leave him with a bloated feeling. A dreadful feeling that she had experienced when she was invited to some fancy dinner party that was invitation only. She had not seen so much food in her life. The waiters and waitresses just kept the food coming, and well, it would feel rude if she was to turn it down. She ended up getting sick later on in the night, so she had to bail before anyone noticed that she disappeared. So maybe if she ever had to go to one of these fancy dinner parties again, she'd drag Feron along so he could eat whatever they brought for her. She let him take the lead again, and followed after him through the restaurant. It looked like they were leaving at a good time, because the place was actually becoming more and more crowded with the rest of the early risers. She nodded her head once to thank him when he opened the door for her, and then she walked through the doorway. She made sure that she stepped off to the side so that she was out of the way if someone wanted to come into the restaurant and not to block Feron. When he showed up, she began to walk along the street, but made to match his pace and not get too far behind, just in case the book store was not too far away from their location. She had her hands behind her back with her gaze sweeping over the place. A small and warm smile stayed on her lips, while she marveled at the beauty of the Last City. This....this right here was worth it. To fight the darkness, not knowing whether today would be your last day. To see the hope that these people had despite the odds stacked against them was actually kind of inspirational. She got lost in her own little world with curiosity filling up to the brim. She flicked her gaze momentarily to Feron when he told her that if there was anything that sparked her interest, they could stop and take a look. "Mmmm hmmm. Okay.I'll let you know." she said softly, as she moved her gaze off of him when she caught some motion from the corner of her eye.
There had been some school-aged children that had been playing on the streets, but they had stopped for a second or two of their time to admire the Guardians that were decked out in their armor. She blinked her eyes a few times, before averting her attention to something else. Gosh, it felt so weird. To be put on top of this high place where these civilians practically idolized you as a Guardian. Mostly from out of respect because of their line of work, and that they were literally the light that made the darkness shy away from these lands. The Guardians represented hope and were the security of future generations so that humanity would not perish. She didn't realize that Feron had stopped. Well, she did when she ended up bumping into him. She instantly took a few steps back when she did, and tilted her head back to look at him. Why did they stop? She followed his gaze, and she beamed like a child on Christmas day upon her discovery."Ah! Oh my gosh! It's soooo cute!" she exclaimed, seeing the book store that he had been talking about. She loved everything about it! She could hardly contain herself, as she walked over to the entrance of the bookstore. Nadia headed inside the bookshop with her Ghost popping up and trailing after her. She acknowledged the shopkeeper with a small nod of her head, before glancing over to Feron. "I'll be right back." she told him as her Ghost floating past her to a specific section of the door. She spotted her Ghost drift by, and she trotted after him."Hey!Wait up." she murmured with a harsh whisper, keeping her voice down like if this place was a library. She followed her Ghost to the section, seeing that he was already pulling a few books from off the shelf."Byzantine? No, you read that one already. Along with the Roman, Mongol, Persian..." her Ghost was starting to say as he filtered through the books and set the ones that were floating in the air back onto the shelves."Oh? How about the Russian Empire?" her Ghost asked as he turned to face her."I've read it, Plato. Spoiler alert. The Tsar, Tsarina, and the rest of the royal family dies at the hands of a bunch of rebels." Nadia responded while she let her hair down for a moment to tie it back up into a neater bun."Seems like you've read them all."Her Ghost said as she had her hair up and she walked over to another shelf."What should I move onto next?" she asked her Ghost, as she lifted her hand to pull a random book from off the shelf."Theories? Or, maybe the advancement of-" she was starting to say, but she saw something drop from between the pages of the book she picked up. She looked down to her boots with an expression of shock crossing her face.Right next to her boots was a gear. She knelt down to pick it up from the floor, with her Ghost matching the same shock as she did upon the discovery."Get that book. The one you are holding now." he said with seriousness.

To her surprise, the Warlock had answered the door. The woman blinked her eyes a few times from out of the first impression when the Warlock stood in the doorway. It was because of this, that she almost dropped the disguise to appear like some other guard. Almost. The woman raised her hand to her mouth while she cleared her throat, before she had spoken."Good morning to you, Aurora. I have heard great things about you." she started to say, whilst going through a list of names that she could use as an alias for now."My name is April.I work alongside Rourke as an advisor." she explained briefly to her. The name? That was a lie. April wasn't her name, but a false identity.Everything else? Eh.Mostly true. She was sort of an advisor. She didn't need for the whole complex to know who she was though."I'm going to get straight to the point. You and I? We are going to the Last City of Earth." she stated as she shifted some weight onto her right foot. She raised her hand to set it on her hip, while she looked up at the Warlock. She was taller than her. How awkward."Nothing major...really.Just put that ol' armor on and grab something light to eat." she started to say, as she stepped to the side to let the Warlock go if she was going to leave the room."Rourke is a tad busy.He sent a few scouts earlier in the morning to go find any Guardians that may be of use to this project." she also decided to say with a shrug of her shoulders."Hence, why you will be coming with me today. It will be quick. Maybe thirty minutes to an hour spent at this city." she informed her to give her a good estimate of how long she would be out there. She wouldn't be alone. She would be accompanying her in case things went sideways. She highly doubt that they would run into any trouble. If they did, they would recognize her more quickly than the poor warlock that she was dragging her along with her today."It's basically reconnaissance. I have heard something...peculiar. I want to find out if it is true.To confirm it myself." she added, as she begun to turn away from the warlock."See you in the hangar. I'll give you thirty minutes to eat." she concluded, then walked down the corridor. When she turned around the corner, the armor that she had been wearing shifted to something that a civilian would wear. Her eyes transitioned from their bright coloration to a chocolate brown with her hair doing the same as she ran her fingers through the low ponytail. If she got the chance to find the little irregularity? She'll eliminate it.
