Nadia had been cutting up a section of the crepe, when he was beginning to say something about being glad that she liked it. Why wouldn't she? The dish that they gave to her was practically dessert. And while it might not be entirely healthy for her to consume it, she sure was loving every second of it. Once in a while, you just had to treat yourself to something nice as a reward for putting up with so much like pushing back the forces of darkness. She picked up a piece of her crepe on her fork, right when he pointed his fork to her direction. She smiled while she moved her leg slightly to lightly step on his boot from the other side of the table."Oh shush. I usually do eat better. I just didn't have much time yesterday." she told him as she lifted her foot from off the top of his boot to continue eating. She took another bite of her fluffy crepe, and she simply nodded her head when he said that the next time he was going to pay.She finished chewing that small piece and swallowed before she had spoken."Sure thing!" she responded, before she finished the rest of her crepe and pushed the plate over to the side for the waitress to pick it up if she passed by. She took a napkin and dabbed her mouth to make sure that she wouldn't have anything sticking around for the rest of the day. She set the napkin down onto the finished plate, before she looked over at him when he managed to finish that big stack of pancakes and the coffee.
"Wow. I didn't think you'd be able to eat the whole thing." she started to say with a small smile. She sure wouldn't have been able to. Huh. They weren't kidding when they said that some guys ate like horses. At least they both had something to eat, before they were both sent off to do some other mission for the Vanguards. She couldn't help but laugh when he made a comment about being able to sleep for a whole week and then his Ghost remarking that it was called hibernation. Ah, so she wasn't the only one that had these witty conversations with her Ghost. Actually, her Ghost had been quiet for sometime. Perhaps, he was doing something from off the side. Sometimes, he tended to go read the latest reports to see what was going on in the world of Guardians and the current progress they were making as a whole. She shimmied from out of her side of the booth, and stood up so that she would be standing beside the table. She looked over to Feron with the smile that never really seemed to have faded away. "Let's walk off those calories, shall we? " she started to say, while she placed a hand onto her hip. She tilted her head to the side, causing for a few strands of her hair to fall from the bun, before she continued to speak."You have to show me this book store that you speak of." she added. The bill was paid for, and she had left a generous tip behind for the waitress. More than what the waitress usually received, because the hunter was in a really good mood today. The strike mission was successful, and she visited the Last City for the first time with a tour guide at her side.

The Awoken Warlock pushed herself to a stand when she summoned the few traces of energy left to get up. She couldn't stay here and sit in the tunnels all night long. Just make it to the bunker, and she'd be good to let down her guard even for a teensy bit. Sable began to walk through the cool and damp tunnels that were built underneath the city. She crossed her arms across her chest to retain body heat while she walked through this place. Her Ghost trailed after her with this growing curiosity of the place that she somehow knew of. Perhaps, it dealt with the small portion of memories that she was able to remember of her past life. Her hand brushed along a mural which paint has faded over the course of time. Her fingers lightly traced over a section, and hovered over an indentation. She pressed the palms of her hands against the wall, and with a push, a switch went off in reaction to the compression. The corroded and cement wall slid and parted to reveal a reinforced and very strong metal door with the gear slowly turning. The door opened automatically allow admittance. She sucked in a breath of air while walking through the doorway. She stiffened hearing the door shut roughly behind herself with a loud clanging sound. It caused for her to stop at that moment with her Ghost hovering around so that he would now be floating in front of her."You should be safe here..for now. It appears that there is reserve power. It should be enough for the basics like heat and the facilities." Lucian was beginning to say with his Guardian brushing past him.
She nodded her head once, but slowed to a stop, and turned to her Ghost when he had expanded like a puffer fish. Almost like if he was trying to reach a signal or someone that was reaching out to him."Who is it?" Sable asked with suspicion in her voice."Arius. Jahoan's Ghost." he explained with simplicity. Her heart skipped a bit, just with her Ghost mentioning Jahoan. Really? It was him? A small smile formed on her lips, but the scenes of earlier played in her mind, which made it slowly fade away. Oh no. He shouldn't come here. She remembered what she did from out of a desperate attempt to escape like a caged animal. He couldn't come here. What if she accidentally hurt him? She'd never forgive herself if she did. Worry started to take over her, before she had spoken."Let me know if he is alright.I....I'm going to go find a shower." she told her Ghost, before leaving his line of sight. Lucian watched her for a couple of seconds, and then he had spoken."Sable is fine. Or, she will be fine. She needs some rest. She's been through a lot." he explained to the other Ghost."Hidden in a bunker to wait out the snowstorm that's breezing by now. Should be out in a few hours. I'll send the coordinates to you." he added.

Hearing the click of the gun followed by the request made him tense. Rourke flicked his gaze to where the door was, seeing a faint red light that indicated that it was locked. Then, how did she get in here? He lifted his gaze slightly to catch a dim reflection of who was sitting directly behind him on the edge of a table. Because of the darkness in the room, he wouldn't be able to make out the fine details. They were a silhouette with their facial features well hidden from the shadows of the room. He knew that the gun had been trained on him, and he recognized the voice that was as clear as day. He lightly tapped his fingers on the arm rests in a rhythmic pattern a few seconds after hearing her question, and when he stopped making the sound, that was when he spoke."Where should I start? The part that your agent failed to do his job? Chronos, was it? I used a lot of good resources for that operation. He caught the Guardian, but her buddies came to her rescue." he began to say, as he slowly rose up to stand in his chair."Luxe is losing patience. You don't want to see him when he loses that last thread of patience." Rourke added as he turned to face the female concealed in shadows. Despite being in the cover of darkness, it was almost like her eyes glowed in such darkness."And you...you lost that Warlock. Swanepoel. Shame. She could have been a darn good asset. One of the few that comprehends how time flows and the parallel lines as well as paradoxes. Plus, that Fiore seems to have a weak spot for her."she purposely said just to get underneath the Titan's skin.
She worked alongside this Titan, but did Luxe know who she was? Most likely not. She seriously was beginning to test his patience now."I have a good agent. Recent recruit and shows promise. I'm sending her to another location when the snow-" he as starting to say, but the woman closed her eyes with a soft sigh."Never send a man to do a woman's job." she muttered while she hopped off the table she was sitting on and shoved the pistol into the holster."I will speak with this new recruit. Remember that ruckus we created in the Tower? With unveiling what those two Guardians truly were? Well, use this small distraction. I certainly will for my own gains." she said with her features changing to look like someone completely else as she moved into the light that was above the doorway."...There's a new player on the field. They are the bane of our existence if we do not put a stop to them." she concluded before slipping out of the door and shutting it behind herself. She walked through the corridor, appearing to be a regular guard stationed at this complex, which was definitely not the case. She walked up to the door that supposedly was the personal quarters of this new recruit he spoke so highly about. She knocked on the door , before stepping away from the door.
