Nadia blinked her eyes a few times, hearing the small amount of laughter coming from Feron. Oh, he found the name-calling to be amusing. While some Guardians thought that the Guardian and her Ghost were bickering with such nicknames, it was nothing more than poking fun at one another. With almost every single Guardian, their faithful and pocket-sizes companion tended to be the first friend and ally that they have made in such an unforgiving world. Her Ghost shifted his gaze curiously at the Hunter just as he repeated the nickname that he shot back at Nadia.
"Oh, her favorite one is Bunny because of her height deficiency and the part that she jumps-" Her Ghost was starting to explain to him, but Nadia casted a glance over to her Ghost with a raise of her eyebrow. Just that one look caused for the Ghost to vanish with a few sparkles of light from where it had been hovering. She sucked in a quick breath from out of being startled when someone suddenly had spoken. She turned towards the person that had been apparently speaking to her with a bit of curiosity. Ahhh! This was her! This was the person she was telling Feron about! She didn't expect for the Titan to arrive so early, so she didn't even come up with a great way to introduce both she and Feron and the problem presented to them."I-ah. Yeah! It was my Ghost that contacted you." she started to say while lifting her hand to the back of her head. She really needed to work on her people skills instead of having her nose stuck between the pages of a book. Thankfully, Feron took over by explaining to the Titan that this mission would take place on the Dreadnaught and the part that they had to eliminate the bond brothers.
She silently prayed that the Titan would tag along for this mission. They seriously needed the help. Hunters were known for their agility, but they weren't fortified and built tanks like Titans. So, when the Titan did agree to participate in the mission, she seemed to have glowed like a kid in a toy shop."Yes! Thank you!" she told the Titan with a small dip of her head. Apparently, it was like another way to show a sign of respect or gratitude towards another person. Not that common to see it, but some people still did it. She lifted her head up a few seconds later to look directly at the Titan with a trace of a smile. This was going to be interesting. Yes, she has heard about the stories and the rumors circulating around this Titan about the ability to manipulate ice. To have it confirmed? Awesome. She really wanted to see how this Titan was able to do it, and how she gained the upper hand when using this ice against her foes."Anyways...this is Feron." she started to say, as she gestured over to the other hunter."...and I'm Nadia. We are happy to have you on the team." she told her, but her smile slowly faded when she heard the faint rumble of a ship's engines. She turned slightly to look over to the side where a jet black ship with yellow lights was hovering only a few feet away from the white railing. Well, her ride was here. She figured that everyone would be able to fit all in one ship. So, she motioned for the two of them to follow her. She started at a small jog towards the ship, and when she felt a light sensation, that was when she was transmatted onboard the ship. She took her seat in the cockpit with her gaze traveling over the various gauges. Coordinates were already plotted to the Dreadnaught. She just had to push the throttle to get the ship moving to head into hyperspace.

As Akari was in search of the potatoes, onions, and garlic, he went to round up the rest of the ingredients required to create a beef stew. Like he mentioned, it would only take him about ten minutes to find the rest of the ingredient list. Roman stepped away from the last vendor stall with a few bags carried in his right hand. He thanked the shopkeeper, before he started to walk through the marketplace. There was a smile that formed when he saw Akari with her bag. He walked over to her, and slowed to a stop beside her. He gently took the plastic bag from out of her hand."Hey, hon." he said softly as he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek."Thanks for helping me out." he told her, as he reached over and had taken her hand. Now that they had everything to make a beef stew, it was time to head home. He was going to sleep good tonight knowing that he wouldn't have to fear that a foe would creep up on them, and that his stomach would be full and content. He lead her through the streets of the Last City with his gaze drifting over the place, before he would look over to her with a small smile. Eventually, he came across the place that he called home.
The exterior was quaint and picturesque considering the fact that it actually used to be a warehouse. The brickwork of the building and the landscaping gave it this old-fashioned taste to it. He walked along the stone sidewalk that drifted around the side of the house that would lead up to the door of his apartment. He let go of her hand, and lifted it so that it was level to his chest. He opened his hand to reveal the palm of his hand. A few seconds later, a ring of keys materialized in his hand. He lowered his hand, as he selected the right key and unlocked the front door. He pushed the door open, and put his foot against the door to hold it open for her. Roman glanced over to her for a moment, before he headed over to the kitchen area to set the bags down on the kitchen counter. He was sorting through the vegetables by removing them from the plastic bags and setting in the sink for him to wash over with water. Then, he would get started by cutting the veggies and grabbing the pot needed to make the stew. "Make yourself at home.Guest bedroom is upstairs. " he told her. While he was doing this, she could start unpacking and explore the house a little to see where everything was.

"She didn't saying anything so far." one of the soldiers was beginning to say to his comrade that was standing beside her."He altered her mind and sight so that she would see illusions. It's supposed to really get underneath their nerves. Get 'em talking." the other had said with both of their backs facing her while they were having this conversation. They thought that she was still in this delusional state that they made her suffer through. Sable slowly lifted her head so that she would be looking directly at the two soldiers. It took so much effort just to lift her head up. Her mouth felt dry like if she had been walking through a desert with no water for days. Her breaths were shallow and slow with her muscles being weak. There were a lot of people that would have given up at this point. To just give away their secrets jus so that they wouldn't have to endure this. She did not. She had something...someone...to fight for. She wasn't going to have her friends or her love be in danger. She wasn't going to tell them a single thing. Though, there was something else that was beginning to bud and flower with every passing second that she was put through this hell. Their voices seemed distant, but she was able to hear what they were speaking about. Her eyes were growing watery at the thought of someone that was close to her, but she quickly blinked these oncoming tears away. This was replaced with something much more sinister when she heard the soldier say something."Why even bother? Let's just grab someone. One of her friends or that other Warlock. Hurt them and bring them-" he was starting to say to his partner, but that was when a spine-chilling voice had filled the room. They whipped around to face Sable with their guns drawn, just as she closed her hand into a fist. "No you're not." she seethed. That was when the fleur du mal had blossomed....the flower of the evil.

When Aurora stepped out of the room with him, Rourke ensured that the door had been shut behind them. An exasperated sigh left him at the news that had been brought to him. The Warlock wasn't talking. Typical. A Guardian would never spill some information so easily especially if it related to their own brethren. Lover, friends, family. She wasn't going to say a word. He had hoped seeing these illusions would deteriorate these walls that she built around herself so she could stay as strong as a fortress. There were ways to break down these walls brick-by-brick so that the person would cave in. She couldn't keep it up. Eventually, her strength would falter. The Titan turned to face Aurora as they were standing in the hallway."She'll give in. They always do." he murmured, giving the implication that this was not the first time he used this method to get some answers. "They will carry on with the interrogation." he explained to her, having faith that they had things back under control. So, he began to walk away of the door that led into the room and down the hallway."I'll most likely head out again. Try and find some clues to the whereabouts of this other Warlock. He'll probably know more than this other one." he told her, but as he was walking, there was this dreaded feeling twisting his stomach. He didn't know why it turned up all of a sudden or the cause behind it. Perhaps it was the side effect of using a sliver of darkness to warp the Warlock's mind.
Just as he was about to take another step, he would figure out why he felt this way. Because right at that moment, there was a blood curdling scream that echoed down the hallway from the room they left only a minute or two ago along with the lights flickering just above them. Adrenaline pumped into his veins as he grabbed his auto rifle from off his back. This wasn't good. He started to retrace his steps with the auto rifle poised to fire at any given second. He lowered the rifle, seeing that the door was partially open. He pushed the door open carefully, and cautiously moved into the room. Gone. The Warlock was gone. A few of his soldiers were laying on the ground with gray dust layering their armor. There was a hole in the wall that led outside to the cool and wintry weather just beyond. He knelt down beside one of the soldiers, and pressed his index finger against his neck. He slowly stood up with a shake of his head. Unbelievable."Dead. They are all dead." he said with some shock in his voice. He then looked out at the hole that had been created with some sort of explosive force. She couldn't have gone far, could she?
