As the representative for the Hunters explained the mission details, Nadia had simply nodded her head. She was partially listening to him, whilst she was thinking and planning this whole thing out. The bond brothers? As in THE bond brothers? Welp, she most certainly dug a big hole that she couldn't clamber out of. While it was intriguing to learn about the other races such as the Cabal, they have pretty much kicked the hornet's nest by taking out their Commander. She knew the basics of their ranks and the types of weaponry that they used. Apparently, these Cabal were kicked out of their home world by the Empire, and the only condition that they could return was if they were victorious. So, it made sense if the Cabal were throwing all their cards on the table just to jump at the chance of a victory. The petite Hunter casted a sideways glance towards her Ghost when these faint red specks of light floated around the book that the Ghost had been carrying before the book vanished completely from out of sight. He most likely sent it straight to her ship. Hey, maybe she can get started with reading on the way to this mission that will be the death of her. Seriously. A little shortie like her and these huge Cabal that weighed almost a ton. She will be the kick starter to the Vanguard space program when one of those Cabal launched her up into the air with their shield.
Based on the details provided, the Cabal were pulling at the strings as a desperate attempt. Who else would be insane enough to strap explosives onto the core of the Dreadnaught? Upon realization of the loss that they would have if the Cabal succeeded, the two other Vanguards were much more willing to follow through with this mission. See? All it took was a little convincing by revealing what was at stake. She glanced over to Cayde when he mentioned that they would have to get another person to join them. They couldn't do it if it was a three-person job. Well, they probably could, but it would be difficult. So, they would have to drag some innocent bystander with them to this strike."I'll see to it that it is done." she responded with a small dip of her head from out of respect to the Vanguard. She was about to turn to her Ghost to make an inquiry for finding their third party member, that is, until the other Hunter had spoken. She turned towards Feron instead, and probably for the first time, she actually got a good look at him. If dictionaries had images beside the words and definitions, his image would most likely be right beside 'C-U-T-E'. He actually managed to catch her off guard right at that second. She tilted her head slightly, hearing the hunter introduce himself. His name was Feron? What an interesting and unique name. Right, now with her introduction."I, um...my name is Nadia Artamanova. You can just call me Nadia." she said, as she looked away from him shortly after. She was NOT going to tell him the nickname that her fellow teammates gave to her which they actually called over the communication channels. "...should we get a Warlock on our team or a Titan? To balance the playing field, that is." she asked him.

Roman held his gaze on the Last City of Earth off at the distance. It was magnificent to see at big when the lights glittered like tiny stars. It was that City right there to why they have fought so hard to keep the Darkness at bay. Civilians and Guardians alike coexisted there with the shared dream of making this place so much better for future generations to come. He had hoped that they would be able to retake the moon and every other settlement that they lost to the forces of darkness. He lifted his gaze up to Akari when she said something along the lines of accomplishing a lot when he was twenty-one years of age. He nodded his head once as he rested his arm on the top of the railing."...back then? I was pretty young and stupid. " he said bluntly with a shrug of his shoulders. Athena would be able to vouch for that."Adventurous. Bold. Trouble maker at times. I did some jobs on the side to make some extra glimmer like repairs, custom paint jobs on a ship or sparrow, and did a whole DIY project at the warehouse to convert it to an apartment with a buddy of mine. Took months to do, but was well-worth it at the end." he explained to her with a faint smile forming remembering the good old days when things were so much simpler. "You may have a late start, but you still have plenty of time to make a difference in this world. " he told her as he looked up at her again."Your Ghost should be able to explain everything you need to know about as well. He'll probably do a better job explaining than me." he added. A gleaming smile appeared when she agreed that she would stay over at his place."My home is your home." he told her softly while he backed away from the railing so she would have room to hop off. He held his hand out for her to take, before he had spoken."Let's go home." he told her softly. From here, it will most likely take fifteen to twenty minutes to reach the apartment complex that he had been talking about earlier. It was located near the heart of the Last City. It used to be a decent sized warehouse that stored spare and refurbished items, but the warehouse closed with the business selling the warehouse so that they could move to a larger location. It was selling at a good price, and it would have been foolish to turn away from it. So, the two Titans jumped at the chance to snag it before anyone else did. With the years passing by, he didn't speak to his old friend as often. Last he heard of him, he actually got married to a woman that owned a bakery in the Last City. He'll probably introduce Akari to their neighbors some other time once they were settled in. For now, all he wanted to do was take a good shower, eat something that wasn't in an itty bitty packet, and to sleep without having to worry about someone hunting them down. Oh. That just reminded him. He would have to grab some groceries from the market. Almost everything in the fridge was most likely expired by now. What a bummer.

The tip of the pen hovered closely to the sheet as Mina waited for the color scheme that the Warlock would select. Usually, every one else at base made such bland choices by just picking black or gray with no trims. So you could imagine how tedious these orders came to be. She perked up, hearing the combination that the Warlock made. Dark blue and black? Nice! Something that she could definitely worth with and something different for a change. "Perfect. Just absolutely perfect." she replied, while she scribbled it down on a specific section of the form. She jumped down from where she had been sitting on the table with the clipboard at hand."Like I mentioned before, it will take a couple of hours for me to complete this. Sometimes, the dyes just don't want to work with-" she was beginning to say, but turned her attention to whatever was happening outside of the door. She blinked her eyes a few times, hearing a not-so-discrete conversation brewing just past the door. She managed to pick out a few of these words such as 'Warlock', 'awake', and 'question'. The woman cleared her throat a little, before making a small hand gesture for her to head out the door."I take it that's the cue for you to head back to Rourke." she told her with a weak smile."I'll have the order sent to your room once it is complete." she added. With that, she turned towards a crate shoved underneath the desk and pulled it out. Time to get to work.
It was that of the doctor and Rourke that were standing outside of the room.To his surprise, the doctor actually expressed some concern for the prisoner that was brought in for questioning."I think we should hold off on this interrogation. I know the acquirement of information relating to the Guardians and whatever else she might know is important. I have run a diagnosis, and she seems to not be faring well." the doctor was beginning to explain with a mixture of worry and fear. Fear that Rourke would grow upset at this for defending a person that belonged to a group they have been against, and worry because of the condition of the person. They weren't useful if they were dead. "I've run a couple tests, but I have yet to receive them. I can come up with a whole bunch of differential diagnosis. I think it may be a problem with the heart or the lungs? Not enough oxygen flowing through the body." the doctor explained, before he had fallen silent when a guard showed up to stand beside Rourke. Rourke tilted his head slightly hearing the news, before he shook his head."Guardians are built tough. I'm certain that she will be able to talk. She knows what will be good for her, so if she wants to be treated, she'll talk." Rourke replied with simplicity, and then turned towards the guard."Set it up. Make sure the recording devices are on. I'll be there in a few minutes." he told the guard, to which he hurried along to the room where the warlock was being held. "I know enough of her and the group she has been to get her talking. " he concluded, and with that, he brushed past the doctor without another word.
